Yes I know, but some guys are getting multiples and others might try this. The face is really terrific and there wouldn't be that much to it really. Scuffing the brow in the right places, some suit modding I gather but not that tough to do.

Also, I'm not sure HT will make a BD as they are including the bloody face with this.

I'm also getting 2, one for each side of the car

I think the bloody face is enough. I never even noticed the battered suit in the film until people here started asking about it. As black as it all is, you can't even notice. Definitely not worth ruining a $240 figure over.

Yeah, it's not all that much to the eye, but quite an iconic image to a lot of people as many remember first seeing the BD mask when it was revealed after he did that bat-turn in the tower at the end of the original 89 trailer.

CANCELED! After closer scrutiny, HT ____ed up sculpting those teeth in the open mouth sculpt. For over $200, they're not even close to looking like Keaton's teeth :

Well I'm considering picking up a second one, to keep for custom fodder, just in case Hot Toys doesn't end up doing "Batman Returns."

Change the symbol and the body armor on the stomach and voila - "Batman Returns" Batman. I know there are more differences between the suits, but I know I wouldn't notice them.

Curious..will the head move at all? I know it doesn't move much in the movie..just wondering.

Im thinking the cowl is one solid sculpt. No movement what so ever, which is the best way to go imo

I completely get the reason for doing it. It's just a kind of a bummer. I'm a much bigger fan of Begins Bats than TDK Bats, but we're probably gonna get another DK Bats sculpt next year for the new film, and that's likely gonna be the 2nd really excellent, modern sculpt for it, while Begins Bats is relegated to a sculpt from early/mid 2008.

In any case, I think Batman '89 fans are fortunate that HT waited until now to do this figure. If we got it a few years ago, it just wouldn't be as impressive.

A 2nd figure might be a good insurance/backup just in case your first has _______ problems with the rubber.

Don't want to use the word _______ in a batman hot toys thread. Might cause a panic.

I don't think they will either. I'll probably mod one since I'm picking up a few of these. It just wouldn't seem right using the battle damaged face without a little damage to the rest of him.

You definitely don't notice the suit damage much but what I noticed right away is the damage to the chest emblem. At the very least I'd like to do that to one of mine.
