Hey guys,

As you already know, I emailed both Enterbay Directly and Viking Playground (where I ordered it) about getting replacements for my Smiling HS, BD Tracksuit, Stains on the Body and Messed up base.

Enterbay replied right away, VP has not.
Read EB's reply at the bottom. EB's reply seems way too simple, and since I didn't order from them directly, they have no record of me, and I can't help but think that my shipment will just disappear into the void and I won't get my replacements.

They don't ask for an order number, my info or anything, which is why it seems too simple.

Also they make no mention of them sending me a prepaid ship label. I take it if I want replacements I have to pay for shipping to them and back?

What do you guys think I should do, do this or wait for VP?

Hey Corrose,

If you want to deal with Viking Playground - why not just give them a call and try to sort it out first - which seems to be what you prefer. If you decide to return the defected items to EB, then it might be a good idea to send it with a tracking number. People in this tread who have had gone through this process have gotten things returned without having to pay the return postage, but you could send them a reply and ask if they will also cover for your postage outlays when sending the stuff to them (and return postage).

A couple of things I want to try out. These new bodies are great. Paint is a little different on them then the Beijing version. I think I prefer the original a little more. I went for years without a proper set of 1/6 yellow sneakers. Now I have 4!

But seriously, would you get pissed off if you get one of these:

It was a gift from a friend, so I dont plan on selling or getting rid of it.

I think if EB got the MJ smooth criminal license, they no doubt will knock it out of the park.

I do slightly wish it was one of them and a head I got this morning then I would at least have got some free sneakers! Still, they're coming as they were posted today along with a GOD suit, which I'll thoroughly soak before it goes anywhere near that body!

I think I'd be peeved if it was like that with no chance of fixing it. Even though it was a gift you could still contact EB about it. Worth a shot considering how much it goes for.

And send the whole statue?

I tried using the hairdryer to warm up the legs and lift him up. It stayed like that for about 1-2 days. And 6 days later hes doing the lean again.

My other friend also have this figure, and he's leaning backwards

I found out from the dio builder that my dio is the first to use his new design. I'll post pics of it in a sec.

As I'm in the UK the vast majority of my EB purchases have been one shot deals and I haven't had to send anything back yet. I wouldn't relish paying to do so that's for sure.

I'd still contact them, they may have a way you can fix it without having to send it back. As you know it isn't the only wonky one there has been. Have you searched on here for possible fixes?

As it's a static pose you could maybe try sticking thick wires down his pants.

Do any of you here own these? hows it doin so far?

It was fine when I first got it. It wasnt until the a few weeks later that I start to notice him starting to lean more and more

And Im not the only one who got the MJ 1003 bruce. Apparently some of my friends (who regretfully POed it) experience the same thing too.

I don't have one of these, but my hunch is that there should be metal rods that extend from the base and up through the legs for support. Looks like the rods were accidentally omitted during production. You could try to remove the statue from the base and insert rods. You can use heat resistant modeler's armiture wire (so it doesn't expand).
