TORn has an article up right with people's experience last night (including mine) and if you email them with yours it might be added to the article. Plus if you have pictures you can email them those as well.

FOTR EE Article on TORn

Also if you didn't see any of the videos or missed something email them as well. They are going to be letting Fathom and WB know of any issues so it doesn't happen for any of the other movies.

You can tell them on Facebook as well.

All those comments about the HD picture and greater detail made me sad because ours was a little out of focus. Someone next to me even went out during the trivia slides about that and someone came in and fixed it, but I'm wondering now if they just fixed it for the slide projector and didn't adjust the focus on the movie projector. :monkey2

Darth, though the picture was good, I think the picture on my TV is better. I feel that way about most movies I've seen. I still like the big screen though.

Really looking forward to the EE:TTT screening. For me, that's the movie that's most radically improved by the additional footage. Love the family dynamic between Boromir, Faramir and Denethor. For me, that added material really makes Faramir's character understandable and relatable in ways the theatrical cut really misses.

My favorite part of TTT is Helm's Deep! :yess:

Just think though......Pellenor fields on the big screen again.
Best part....the Rohirrim think they kicked ass, then the Mumakils arrive!!!

GOOSEBUMPS!!!

Oh and not forgetting..."this is MY hour"!!!

awesome movies and yeah..i hate you guys ;)

right on Glennfett, :)

I love when the Rohirrim first arrive at Pelennor Fields and ride towards Minas Tirith,

"a sword-day, a red day, ere the sun rises! Ride now, ride now! Ride to Gondor!" - Theoden

Completely agree. Unless I'm seeing an animated 3D movie, I feel I get a better viewing experience at home. I do still see movies in the theater that are deserving of the big screen treatment.

I always thought it was " SORE-day", due to all that riding! :lol

I might not get to go to see TT this Tuesday. They are predicting terrible storms that day. :gah:

My son tossed his brothers glasses out the window by accident yesterday, gonna need to buy new glasses for him... not going to make it to the next two shows after all. :monkey2

Guess I'll just watch them at home. :(

Does he have an old pair, maybe not as strong, but still doable? Also, check with your eye doctor, they may have something he can borrow. You never know!

Eye doctor? Wouldn't that be an optician? :nana:

oops sorry i shouldn't be posting in this thread as i won't be seeing these screenings in America :slap

Right now it doesn't look like I'm going to be going to TT tonight. Our central air unit isn't working, there's suppose to be storm tonight and several other things are going on. Ticks me off. When it rains it pours with me. :(

Well my luck changed. My brother bought me and my boys tickets this week since we bought his last week. :yess:

Our screening has been halted due to tornado warnings! Standing in the hall at the theater. Stay safe everyone!

TTT was great as always. Different intro by Jackson this time talking about filming the the movie. If you enjoy watching the Doc discs that comes with the movies you like hearing this type of thing. Great night just like last week and now we end it next week.

Thank goodness I got to go. Loved it! For some reason this looked much better to me than Fellowship. I had to pee part way through though. Damn bladder!

Seaward.....hope everything is okay your way. The weather this year sure is screwy!
