I'll get my best shots at the end of the day when the sunset is coming through my office window, and I'll get some full body shots then, but here, in the name of "pics or it didn't happen," are a few headshots. You can see that the smiling face has a paint rub on the chin, and the BD face has a slight nose rub. My old eyes are so shot I'll probably forget they're there.

congrats gruff! nice teaser pics (i'm saying that cos i know there will be more)

pity about the chin though, you reckon you can take it off?

Figure looks much better in these pics, the paint rubs are annoying for a $300 figure... I hope mine doesnt turn out like that!

Looks much better than the previous pics I have seen, not sure I'd be too happy about the chin though. Thanks for posting!

Great pictures !!!

Thanx for proving Rorywan wrong ! Haha ! (Yeah, yeah... we know you where only joking Rorywan... Hehe...)

By the way, sorry to read that both of your two heads got rub stains - but I honestly think you should not have any problems if you let the seller know this and present those pictures. It is best to deal with this right away than to wait.... Especially this being such an expensive figure release.... But of course it is all up to you

i thought the old GoD and FoF were ok. then again maybe its just me. :)

The older old GoD and FoF did have smaller eye holes... however I think just the like DX the positioning of the eyes is VITAL to improve the likeness, too much of the eyeball is visible and thus makes the face look spaced out! now lift the eyes a little, make the eyeballs partially visible showing a little more of the lower whites of the eye, and position the eyeball completely sideways...

Then you will think that the likeness is spot on...

I think a bit of the 5 o'clock shadow got rubbed and sort of "piled up." It might be possible to lift it off and mend the spot with a bit of watercolor. The funny thing is, only foam touches the smiling head in the packaging.

good tip! will try it out with my ETD when my shelf is ready. how to wait another month?? :impatient:

is the hairpiece on the smiling face removable ? sure looks like a two piece head sculpt..too bad about the paint rub..I'm really starting to like this figure again..

yes but remember enterbay has taken the stock back and has your head repaired and maybe they don't pay attention while working with the figure.

You might want to be very careful about doing any repair-painting on the figure (both head and body) as it is clearly warned not to attempt that in the manual - of course unless you know the material and how to deal with that...

By the way, what are the positive plusses on this figure release ?

looking forward to more pics from Gruff when i wake up. hope you'll be able to get the rubs fixed bro.

goodnight everyone! zZzZzZzZzzzz

As much of a bummer as it is to take delivery of a figure and discover it has an issue that warrants its return for a replacement part, for this kind of money you'd want to do it so you get as close to a perfect figure as it is reasonably possible to get. If you can live with it Gruff then no problemos, but IMO that paint rub is no small thing. Bruce's teenage years were well behind him when he did GoD :lol

I'm guessing the bobble-head look in these pics and others we've seen with the bare torso isn't apparent in-hand? Looking forward to seeing more pics, the smiling head is definitely growing on me.
