I kind of think Superman 2 has a strange ending. Superman helps murder some fellow Kryptonians, using wacky cellophane "S" weapon in the process, mind wipes Lois, gets revenge on and humiliates puny human bully, then flies around with the U.S. flag.

WTH, the stand is "unique" standard

How are we supposed to do those iconic flying poses when the standard "floating" stand only allows for only vertical poses?????

It's better and more plausible (for a superhero movie) than defying the laws of physics and spinning the world in reverse to turn back time.

There is a guy on Ebay Claiming it will be ready to ship in 30 days. Terrible how they scam people who don't know better.

Did you report him? What would be even more terrible, is if you took the time to post all that stuff here and didn't.

How can you accurately report the listing if the description box area doesn't give you enough space to describe why he is violating Ebay policies

Funny how given such a great figure people dwell on this shipping situation. The fact that Sideshow is offering free shipping on a preorder item alone is rare. You can justify getting a regular from Sideshow as a way to pad your rewards point total if you live outside California. If you live in California then take the discount from AlterEgo or wherever and be happy.

It's such a petty thing to complain about when you are already spending $200+ on a 12" figure.

Those who ordered the exclusive and used rewards points are screwed. They can't just cancel and order the regular without losing them.

I see what you mean. Some freaks may have purchased him on the assumption of free shipping from the original post that there was free shipping. The post that there wasn't free shipping on the Exclusive came before the pre order came up but I can see how it could have been missed and they ordered under the free shipping assumption.

First, a big THANK YOU to Hot Toys for giving us what we all have been dying to own, a CR Superman, hope there is more to come from Superman 1 and 2.

Second, as much money as that Exclusive will definately be worth in the future, for me personally I would never display Superman in his weakened state with kryptonite around his neck, that's just not Superman for me.

He will always be displayed with his full strength and charisma, just like how I want to remember Christopher Reeve.

Not weakened and suffering, not Superman, not on my shelf anyways!

How can you accurately report the listing if the description box area doesn't give you enough space to describe why he is violating Ebay policies

1. REPORT ITEM (under Seller's location)
2. for Reason, select Listing Policy Violations
3. for Detailed Reason select Inappropriate Seller Terms
4. Additional Details select Item Listed for Pre-Sale That Does Not Meet Ebay Guidelines
5. under Brief Description simply state that it won't be released until Q4, well after the 30-day limit for pre-sale.

Looking forward to this one. I've actually stayed away from the comic book based heroes but this one is just too iconic for me.

Yeah, his decision to truly play God by turning back time to reverse history is also a bit troubling to me. . .call me old-fashioned, but I never cared much for the mind-wiping, murderous, history altering, pick on puny humans because you have a grudge Superman.

Just kidding. I honestly love the guy!

There is a version of the movie where the Kryptonians are led off in handcuffs to Canadian police. Like there is any real law in North Canada. Pure wastelands and miserable living.

Not to mention that stopping the planet's rotation completely negates gravity. If Physics hadn't been overlooked, think about the catastrophic event he would've caused because he was whipped.

I don't actually like any of the old Superman films. With this figure I'm just going to allow my imagination to play around and pretend that this is Reeve as Superman in a film I actually like. Sorta like how if Hot Toys made figures from Terminator 3 I'd buy them and pretend that they're from a worthy Terminator sequel...because the figures would certainly look like they could be.

Is Nobody else pissed of that flying poses shown CANT BE POSED??

You CAN'T have this superman in a flying pose on your shelf, the Stands will only allow for vertical poses, so half of the images of this figure cant be done once you have the figure.

This was the most iconic flying character HT has done and the one that DEMANDED a new base design for forward "Horizontal" flying poses.

I love the figure but HATE the advertising of poses that cant be done, BOO HOT TOYS for photoshoppong un-feasable poses and leading the customers into thinking they can be done in-hand.

This is why they are such great movies. They truly were what a Comic Book Movie should be like. These characters and dynamics could never be real but the fact that its such BS and that its so none real world is what makes Comics so great.

Christopher Reeve will live forever. God Bless him for being so caring to the character we all love.
