UZUMAKI - i think this head sculpt looks like he's smiling a bit anyway

this was one of the first things i noticed and was happy about, it has that stern, serious look but a slight curl to the lips that give it warmth

and so it should, christopher reeve as superman looked like the friendliest guy in the world, this is the fella you could trust! as long as you didnt give him red kryptonite of course, then he'd get smashed in a bar!

so i'm glad they didnt go too serious with the expression, it's not like Thor where you can get away with that look

as far accessories go, i'd like the neckless of kryptonite but upon second thought i'm thinking i wont use it, this guy is gonna be standing tall with none of the green stuff

as a matter of fact, i've noticed that i hardly use any of my accessories, no tony start head on display, no box of roses under the arm of arnie, what a waste

"Perfection" is relative. Sounds like a lot of people in here think this figure is perfect as is.

Well in this case that would be true. I honestly don't believe they can improve it any further without altering it for the worse. However it is unreasonable to expect anything further than the masterpiece it currently is.

What a fantastic figure. Easily my first buy of 2011. Bring that s@#t on!
My only nitpick is that they haven't exploited that stellar likeness on a second head with that classic smile. It also seems that they focused so heavily on this front-on shot likeness that he can look a little lifeless from more extreme side angles. Of course, it's just a figure at the end of the day, you can't fix that!

Finally, a real ballpark smashing factory figure HT!

And now the Sosa/Kato Superman thread falls silent. Forever.

This actually seals the deal for me. This reveal sculpt looks worse than the leaked pics. I notice it doesn't mention the yellow S on the cape either.

Edit: just saw dinos post with the yellow S on cape. That takes care of the outfit and body.

I called this figure a boy in a superman suit in the other thread,but i see now it was just the poor pics earlier.The body looks absolutely perfect in the new pics!

I really want a Smirking Reeve presentation so lets hope HT will do that next for their Clark Kent figure.

looks great! im preordering this, the only niggle i have is the lack of a clark kent option but its understandable if they want to keep this cheap.
It does feel like a bare bones figure release compared to some of the others, so i wouldnt be suprised if there was a dx re-release in the future but im not that im going to wait and take that gamble!!!

Couldn't be anymore perfect IMO

This is HT's finest for me, looks to beat T2 T800 for likeness and proportions

Well done HT this is just stellar stuff right there and I will not miss out on this no chance!
