Just finished painting imaresqd1's B Wayne head sculpt. I'm happy to add this head to my Batman Collection:

Looks good, but have you considered using one of the generic Truetype necks, instead of the TDK suit neck? It would make your figure look more natural and a little bit less awkward around the jawline, especially right under the ear and where the back of the hair starts.

It would also be a little more screen accurate, since Wayne isn't wearing the neck armor when he's in the TDK suit without a mask.

Out of curiosity, I'm not going to copy you but do you have an A3 printer? or did you print it out in sections/piece it altogether from A4?

No, I don't have A3 printer. Digital printing shop is the best way to print large picture.

(I have a lot of time to kill right now, so here it goes:)
He does wear the neck piece when he's on top of the building in Asia. Maybe you need to rewatch the movie:

He's not wearing a neck piece when he's mourning Rachel. He's home and with no need for full suit action:

I'd rather have the top of building scene where he's ready for action than the mourning scene. And I don't like the bare neck look, otherwise I would've left it like that. Plus, awkward would be to display him holding the sticky gun, the mask AND a neck piece.:monkey4

Ah, my bad, I only checked the mourning scene. Don't know why I didn't remember the Hong Kong scene, especially because I've got my own TDK Bruce posed for that scene as well...

This is incredible.

Did you do your neck mod?

My only criticism is that the neck looks an itsy bitsy bit too long. It's really minor, but the real head draws attention to the fact that this is a real man with real anatomy.

I agree that the neck is too long - known issue with the DX neck

It's also too thin, but shortening it a little will do the trick

Nevertheless, killer custom

:lol I know, I know..... how come the guy who invented the neck mod didn't fix his DX Bat?! I just didn't push the head down enough. I will be installing a metal ring inside the head so it stays secure just like the original dx masked head. ;)

Looks great! Which body are you using?

Is it all made by Moe? He does some hot stuff at the moment.

Thanks :)

It's a TT Advanced, but I bulked up the torso and arms to match the chunky legs better.

The suit, boot and gloves are from Moe. The decal I got from Evilface.

This looks good but the blue looksmore like a Neal Adams blue than a jim Lee IMO

Also personally I'd have the chest decal larger

Nice work on the body

If I was going for a Jim Lee Batman that would probably bug me, but this is not intended to be Jim Lee, it just so happens that Eric's sculpt is the best one out there. I did in fact ask Moe for a dark blue, but this is what I got, so I may repaint at some point, haven't decided. It will probably make sense to do it when I paint the head, so I can be sure the colours match.

The logo is exactly as I wanted it.

The body was very simple to modify really, and widening the chest under the arms really improved the outline of the body.
