I can see where you guys are coming from but while bale was bulky in the film, he was no where near as big around the midsection. I was going off these photos.

I don't know. The thin waist makes the thighs too big giving it a female look. Especially compared to the HT OC figure standing next to it.

The pictures angle is taken from a lower level, looking up making the upper body look small, Heres a better pic, with a straight view of the body.

It looks good Ven, will you be able to get any good poses out of the fig or will he just stand there? I would be worry about ripping the suit.

It's looking great! A shame that the bicep armour ends so high up though. I was wondering if you could cut it along the line where it joins the shoulder and centre it on the bicep but I think that would look equally strange...

Its way more articulated than the OC batman... without worrying about the suit deteriorating I'll post some pics up in a bit.

Nice pics. The second shot is as much as I would pose him anyways, so it looks like the suit does not render the body motionless.

Looks AMAZING Ven!!!

I think you got the proportions right!

as I said in the other thread, out of the box OC wins no questions but with mods (similar to that of the Medi TDK) it can atleast stand toe-to-toe with the HT OC Bats, especially once toy have a great cowl to go with it!

Thanks for the comments and critiques guys. I appreciate it! Can't wait for the IMARESQD1 cowl. (hopefully its offered)

Hello all!
New to the forum here. See that the thread is one year old, so I am one year too late. Getting these figures not on po is costing me a fortune.

Anyways, does anyone know if this costume is from the first medicom version or the second?

Thanks for the help!

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but when I hopefully get my hands on a Medicom figure I will be doing this as well. My Takara just doesn't do it for me anymore and I will never get an HT version. I also like some aspects of this custom more, so it will be a fun project.

Because of the price Ed?

Yeah. But I always wasn't satisfied with the quality of the rubber compared to the first release (which is even more outrageously priced), and I also like the separate pieces of the Medi, the material for the suit, and also the likeness of the headsculpt.

The biceps' protruded armour and knee pads are the only things I'd like to change in the MediBat. Apart from that, I gues the major issue with it was its short height. Otherwise, I believe this suit is more 'movie accurate'.

I never owned the HT OC but have the Toy Fair Ex. release. But now, only the suit, body, and hands/palms are left of it. Waiting for CREG Customs cowl to complete it now. Still need to work more on it, like painting the belt, beefing up the waist and legs, etc.:

I know what you mean about the bicep armor. If I ever get the Medi, I will be stuffing the undersuit to make it about the same thickness as the bicep armor. What bothers you about the knee pads though?
