Edit: There was (oil) splatter transfer on to WM during close proximity blasting/downing of a droid.... nice catch... the liquid is more dark (black) than brown though...

Awesome. I used to go to a comic shop in E-town.

Yep - Some of that was due to dark lighting. Motor oil is a brownish black when thinned out on a light surface so I took that liberty so it's not looking like just black paint.

Thanks! The eyes are white. White LEDs photograph blue :dunno.

India ink and water based polyurethane - Same mixture with a little bit of a dark flesh wash for the brownish mix.
