Yes, there is a HUGE difference in quality and accuracy. The TSC Bullseye does not have a plush nose, it is bigger, and it is more accurate to the film. Definitely worth the $50.

thxu for the info. definitely worth the $50, but it's now going for over $100 on ebay. :monkey2

just noticed there are two different versions of the tsc buzz. see the yellow box description of the figure. one shaped like a circle, the other is shaped a six-sided square. one says 'try me', the other doesnt have that. how different are both figures? or is it just a difference in packaging? and if so, which version is more desirable/rarer? thx.

The packaging with the yellow arrow is more screen accurate and as far as I know there is no differences with the actual Buzz figure so if you saw both on the shelf I would choose that one providing the condition of the packaging is both the same. I don't think one version would fetch more then the other but it's always nice to have the most screen accurate version possible.

I'm having trouble finding the Target Exclusive Aliens, would anyone in the states be willing to help me? I would prefer to have that version as they glow in the dark.

Hey guys, Is the TSC Woody and Jessie pull string ring different size or were there a different batch with smaller rings? Just noticed my TSC Jessie has a smaller ring then Woody.

:lol I have a dirty mind.

Can't say mate, I don't have the Jessie. Was actually thinking of swapping the ring on the TSC Woody for the one on the old figure, it's smaller, would look better.

Don't we all:lol

Someone at the pixarplanet forums mentioned that they sell those smaller rings at a place called Michaels... I think? But those smaller rings make a big difference on the looks.

When I found the TSC Toys, everything turned beautiful
Every hour I spent online, looking at the pics.
And when I was sad, my TSC Woody was there to dry my tears
And when I was happy, so was Wampar, when I found the toys.

Through the summer and the fall, I waited for the new waves,
and that was all
Just me and my computer, looking for updates
And when I was lonely, rex and rc were there to comfort me
And I knew that they were accurate.

So the year went by, I stayed the same
Happy and awaiting the new Toy Story movie
Still I waited for the day, when I'd find Jessie and she'd say "it's you it's you it's you you're here. Woowee."

Lonely and forgotten, I found her and Potatoe head,
I smiled at them and held them, just like I did with Buzz.
I have them all, except for bullseye.

When I found out about sideshow, everything turned beautiful,
Every moment on the THINKWAY TOY STORY COLLECTION FORUM, lives within my heart
When I found out about sideshow.

Thank you all.

Well, if you got Buzz, you definitely need Woody next!

Although, personally, Bullseye is my favorite after Buzz :horse

I only bought Bullseye and Jessie TSC, I wanted Jessie because the cheap version of her has plastic hair and the TSC had the yarn looking hair and bullseye tsc is much bigger and his hard plastic mouth part with teeth is better then then cheap version of bullseye available. I bought the cheap version of buzz and woody because the only difference I could notice on woody is small details in paint and detail, and I coudlnt really notice any difference between tsc buzz and cheap buzz other then tsc buzz head moves and I read larger wing span. I love TSC jessie and bullseye though. I got the TSC Rex last year from amazon when it was 19 dollars.

OUCH, you're beating Bullseye!!

Yah, Mongoose, what to get next is completely up to what kind of collection you plan to have. If you're just aiming to get them all, the next one doesn't really matter all that much.

If the next one is the only one you'll be getting for a while (good luck), I'd say stick with Woody. They're a great pair on the shelf and they represent all the Toy Story movies pretty well. If you start mixing and matching, that opens the flood gates into dangerous territory of buying each and every single one! (like me)

You can go about it a number of different ways. You can stick with TOY STORY only... or TOY STORY 2 only... or TOY STORY 3 only. If you go with option 3, you really don't need RC or the Bucket O Soldiers (although they do have a cameo, the entire bucket is completely absent).

If you stick with Toy Story 2, you won't need Lotso or anyone else from the third film. If you go with Toy Story, thar be plenty of holes but it would be the cheapest route.

Whoops, double post!

I'll just replace excess text with pictures then.

Of course if you want more bang for your buck, you could always do the Bucket O Soldiers for $12.99, Space Aliens for $30 (or individually at Target for $10 each).

Here's my bit of advice for the time being... Bullseye has been tough to track down so if you see him, I wouldn't hesitate.

thx for the info. i just learned one is a 1st release, the other a 2nd release. and i'm informed there's also a 3rd release packaging out now, with no clouds behind the toy story text, and less words on the yellow box.

Alright guys I got Buzz but now I'm torn on who to get next.
Do you guys have any sugestions?
you'll be repeating that question to yourself again and again, and before you know it, you'll have the whole gang on display. :lol

thought i was just going to stick to buzz and woody. but now i'm thinking of jesse too.

It is pointless to pretend you wont want them all if you hang around here and look at pictures long enough. Sure it starts with buzz, it always does. But then it continues until you have no more shelf space. Realistically woody should be your second. I like bullseye and Rex for the sheer scale.
