I figured it was cause the first was but not sure. Only reason I assumed PC is because I didn't experience anything like that after playing it on my 360 for many hours straight.

Ah I meant files I've logged many hours and have pretty much did everything on (probably a good 30+ hours). The game starts to lag a bit at this point. It's a common problem with the game.

There were other issues with dyes and how some items worked. I'm not sure if it's fixed now, but I figure they stopped making patches by now.

Fable III Getting the GFW & Limited Edition Treatment
Written Friday, May 21, 2010 by Dan Webb

After the "cover art debacle of 2010" - where Microsoft inadvertently confirmed Fable III for PC with that pesky "Only on" stamp - the console-making publisher today announced that Fable III would appear on Windows. Games for Windows specifically and only available via its Games on Demand service.

In more relevant news for our 360-centric readers - which is about 99.919% of you, Microsoft today also uncovered plans for Fable III's Limited Edition, which carries a RRP of £59.99 -note: that's RRP, not retail price, which will probably be closer to £50.

The contents of said Limited Edition seems like a must-have for Fable fans, offering a whole array of goodies to use in-game; including a DLC quest, an exclusive location, a unique outfit, a breed of Boxer dog and more.

The full contents is as follows:

A new quest: Uncover the mystery of the haunted forests of Silverpines and earn the legendary sword, Wolfsbane, deadly against wolves and balverines.
Exclusive location: Unlock a new region, ideal for settling down with a family and discovering new treasures.
“Fable III” playing cards: Created by Lionhead, these cards depict every type of character in “Fable III,” including Heroes, royals, rebels and villains from across Albion and beyond.
Guild Seal Coin: The coin features a Good side (blue) and Evil side (red) to assist players in making critical decisions that will impact the fate of the world forever.
A new dog breed: Renowned for its loyalty, the Boxer is a brave canine companion worthy of greatest Queens and Kings.
One unique outfit: Unearth one male and female outfit from the mysterious, faraway land of Aurora, a new destination in your “Fable III” adventures.
Fable III is coming this Christmas.

Please don't tell me we have to do escort/protect missions. Those are the worst. I remember in the first Fable I absolutely wanted to murder that annoying kid from the cave.

:gah:
I still remember that little punks voice...." Mommy.." in that annoying little british accent:pfft:
This game will be like the last. A mile wide and half in inch deep.

Meh, looks just like 2. My wife loves those games so I already pre-ordered it for her, but I'll wait for Black Ops to come out.

Anyone know if farting will still fix everything? (as it was in Fable 2)

Like, if I ____ another girl in front of my wife and she gets mad, can I fart to make her happy again?

Just like in real life.

Well , unless farting can get my this game it's probably going to be a pass.
Whilst i played through Fable II it felt and played exaclty like Fable to me and this one looks exactly the same too. :dunno

I've never liked Peter Molyneux's games. They never live up his lofty promises. But in one sense that may be a good thing. Thank goodness that Milo Kinect/Natal game was canceled. The final product would've probably just piss off a lot of pedos.

Aside from the issues, I think Fable II is charming and at times very beautiful. The art direction has something going for it.

Wow, no one's posted in this thread since the game was released?

Fable's a curious thing... I find the series to be slow and boring with annoying voice acting, horrible missions, a poor battle system with a huge lack of enemy variety, along with multiple handfuls of other issues, yet I keep coming back for more. I simply cannot explain why.

I've only played a few hours of Fable III so far, and it feels exactly like the first two. It's so sad that the interactions havent evolved to become more subtle and realistic (I simply can't stand the burps and farts), and the breadcrumb thing really dumbs down the whole game (but I don't choose to turn it off because the game doesnt feel like it's made to function properly without it due to the cumbersome map/quest list).

I don't understand why Lionhead hasn't tweaked the gameplay mechanics. It feels so antiquated and unpolished. I started Fable III right after finishing up Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, and the whole game feels so cumbersome compared to Castlevania. The attacks are slow and inaacurate and the AI is horrible (the only threat comes when you're overwhelmed and your character simply can't move fast enough to attack or defend). NPCs keep saying "only a hero could have done what you did," yet it just feels like you're a prepubescent swinging around a baseball bat and randomly firing your gun and hitting anything that gets in the way of the bullets.

But why do I keep coming back to play? It really doesn't make any sense because I have so many issues with the various aspects of the game. Does that mean Molyneux succeeded with drawing in players and making them want more, even though the package overall feels like it's still unfinished? I really don't want to like the game, but I can't help myself from playing :gah:
