This will be probably be much bigger than the Weta ML. Can't wait for this. If this PF is around 23 to 24 inch in height, imagine a Sauron PF! Now that this is coming soon, I expect a Sauron PF in the not too distant future.

I've got both the Weta ML statue and the SS LSB in my display. I'm sure the PF will really be larger than the statue but the Weta ML being all-poly probably gives it texturing and "swirl" that would be very difficult to capture with fabric. I imagine that I'll display all three! (Now I just need to add a United Cutlery "Sword of the Witchking" to hang on the wall behind them.)

Any thoughts on what this release might do to the value of the existing Weta ML which is also quite large and with what appears to be a roughly similar pose?

PS: Two Daddy Rog APs from China on eBay now, recasts?

I don't think the PF's have had any real impact on the price of the SSW statues. Need to wait for the new maquette line to see what will happen with prices.

And yes, those Rog's are likely recasts, but even if they are not, how can you be sure. Not worth the risk.

I had a dream once... of fitting all the pf's inside the cabinet and the LSB's on top. The Zerker cleared the inside with a quarter inch to spare. Now I'm hosed this guys gotta go on top. It's getting challenging. I've got the Fell Beast vs Eagle still boxed it's so beautiful but damn its very awkwardly shaped.

good luck getting that one into any factory made display cabinet.

It's tough to beat the LSB. I think it's the best representation of the ML out there right now.

that would be a great idea cause they are so similar. I think he will have switch out weapons as well, maybe dagger/mace/sword. I'm still not so sure about the pose yet, but it is looking interesting. This is the only must have piece from the LOTR line for me, which means I'm gonna have a lot to cancel to be able to get this

What about the rest of the armour?

I thought the only difference b/w the Morgul lord and a Ringwraith was the helm?

Yeah I love the 9500 LIMITED edition size on that piece. Still they did sell out and there are not that many on eBay at any one time.

Which will then lead to a big problem in the future, what happens if it gets bought by someone in say Europe and then they sell it to someone in the US, then you go to buy it. You ask were it came from and they say Europe....

Unless there is an easy way to pick the fakes in the future, who knows what one may end up buying.... this is why recasts are bad ppl.

If you look at the photos of the Weta Morgul Lord statue on SS's site, on the link i posted on the last page, you'll see he also has shoulder armour a rather big mace! I think the leg armour is the same he wears as a normal wraith though.

That would be the first Weta piece recasted as far as I'm aware , I wouldn't be so quick to judge there.
