The head sculpt is key on this figure..and the body. Use the hot toys muscular build. Reeve was in amazing shape

Of course muscular build, but more important and tricky is the arm and neck/head separation/articulation for flying poses.

Just how do you have a muscle neck with a head that has great back/forward tilt?

The Routh Supes were separate pieces, but have no issue as the collar of the suit rides high anyway.

Hot Toys will not screw this up, i have all the confidence in the world that this will have great likeness and quality materials.

Speaking of flying poses, it would be great if HT included a special stand for that.

A "must have" for my HT collection. As stated above, I think HT would make this figure with all the justice it deserves;)

I at least would what a straight up and down sculpted shoulders and neck. I honestly would prefer the neck joint left out for aesthetics. It would limit some flying poses... but as I doubt I would pose him flying I'd be okay with that.

definately has to be a sculpted neck for sure! No question

I cannot think of a worse job in the world then making this figure, especially being the person who has to take decisions on the colour of the costume.

hahaha jeez man I think you only need 3 I suppose? I don't really think you need one for back-up..

I envy your financial ability and the amount of space you have at your home to keep all 4!! haha

I'm building a fort out of the boxes...

Neutral, definitely. I don't like it when faces are frozen into an expression or battle damaged versions...

6 different heads with different expressions - that way we have to buy 6 figures to display all the heads.

Ooooh... just had a thought! He could have light up eyes for heat vision :rock

Okay - 7 heads.

it's being made!

it's BEING MADE!!!!

i'm sorry. i just have to scream that out loud for myself. it's soothing.

Maybe they could do two necks, one normal one and then one specifically sculpted for flying poses.

But how would they attache to the body? The sculpted neck is just that: sculpted to the body? How would you separate this foor a different neck?

It of course needs a sculpted neck as the suit collar sits so low, but the question is HOW are they going to get good forward/back motion on the head for flying poses with s culpted neck? Their sculpted neck figures have practially zero of this motion.

Couldn't they do a separate 'flying' head that only looked good in a flying pose? It wouldn't even need to be a separate sculpt, just a retooled version of the main sculpt, although I would want a stand that allowed the figure to 'fly' - something like the Sideshow Thunderball Bond stand.
