Hey Guys,

First of all, sorry for all the confusion that was apparently caused by someone here at Acme! I'm not sure who gave out that information, but it is not accurate. The only thing I can think is that the person on the phone from Acme was confusing the new Sanda piece (as someone mentioned) or maybe even a Leia piece that we are currently working on with Brian Rood (which seems more likely since Brian has had prints at Celebrations past and whatnot).

Again, apologies for the confusion!

Well then, that sucks.

I guess I need to make sure I ask the person's name before I hang up the phone. :banghead

Thanks Morly.

Not a problem.

Please check up on this. The guy I talked to on the phone definately knew what he was talking about and what I was talking about.

Get to the bottom of this, I need one of these babies!!

Well I sent a PM to the gentleman over on Rebelscum.com that works with ACME. Otherwise, I haven't got a contact over there to talk to. Its either a mis-understanding, or they are producing it without our knowledge. They were never given the original digital file, so for them to re-produce it they'd have to ask us for the file, or scan an existent print, which would result in a second generation quality print out. Hardly something that a company like ACME would produce, as its usually of very poor quality when you do something like that

There are 500+ of these prints out there. It can't be that hard to get a hold of.

Actually there are considerably less than that. While Adam did sell out at CIV, he didn't sell out at Celebrations Europe. The remainder we shipped back arrived damaged, and had to be destroyed. I may have wrapped Christmas presents with some!! :rotfl

Wow!

I don't buy hardly any "prints" but this is one that I've wanted for a while.

I've tried ebay a few times but I always seem to get sniped. :banghead

The person at ACME may have been confused about which Leia print they were putting out. I just got their newsletter and the have a Slave Leia print by Tsuneo Sanda on sale April 7th.

That's a beauty!

Sorry to hear that the AH print was a misunderstanding. I've been wanting that one for some time now. Looks like I'll be waiting awhile longer. :monkey2

I'm bumping this thread to ask this question. Everyone thought I was nuts that this was being rereleased and now the art has been put on a POS dartboard.

So does this give hope for the supposedly leaked news of a rerelease?

I thought the supposed leaked news was debunked as "confusion"?

I'm 100% unaware of ANY reprinting of Adam's Slave Leia print in it's original format. I'm not "covering up" anything.

Well it was debunked by Allison and ACME, but I talked to the guy and he was not confused. I'm still believing in a cover-up of sorts.

why would "the guy" have better intel than Allison or ACME? and what reason would a cover up even be necessary?

Sorry everyone, not trying to be mean. Just seems fishy in my eyes.

Allison, is the artwork on the dartboard officially from Adam?

Also, when I say "cover-up" I mean in the nicest way possible. Like some kind of exclusive deal that wants to be kept secret as a big surprise.

its Adam's art; but someone else did color corrections. Those are NOT Adam's original colors. And we had no idea this was coming out until we saw it online.
