Would love to see them both, as I would like to get an idea which I should get.

I'm waiting for the clear cote to dry, then the pupils, gloss & shazam, it's ready to go. The Loading really paints up well. All I can say is it looks creepy. The flesh material looks real. Minimal painting required to make it look good. Have several shades of browns/reds/pinks/purples & blues. Trick is to make it look like it doesn't. I'm rempted to get some of their other stuff just cuz it's a joy to work with. The stock paint job was ok, but stripping & repainting it really brings out Statham.

I may, the price is up there... a little for a fig like this... and where did they get that outfit ?

Let's take a look at yours !!!! :angelsmil

One final blast of clear coat, gloss the eyes. Will clear coat tonight after the kids leave (nieces-don't want them inhaling fumes). The body & everything is ready to go. I'm busting to get it done for my Father. Very pleased with the results on this one. Tried to vary the shading in the hair to reflect the thicker areas of growth. He's slightly thinner in the crown area. Slightly darker in the king fisher area's.
Body - Hot Toys
Suit - e(vil)Bay
Guns - Twilight magic Works (brilliant pieces)
car keys (a must)

post again later when I can, sorry for the wait folks

Saya, Mad Cow
get the complete build kits from Cotswald, their prices & service is always great! Likely get them cheaper than from the folks pimpen' them out on eBay right now.

I'm gonna log off now & go & strip the original Transporter I did with a Dragon body. Transfer everything over to the Hot Toys now so all I have is the head install.

I'm really sorry for the wait. All I can say is the Loading looks so much better repainted. I almost don't want to give it away! But hey, my Dad's worth it. He already said he wanted to sell it on the bay!!!! What love huh

eyebrows done, last blast of clear coat is drying now, then gloss the eyes. Hopefully have some pix later tonight
The kit is on BO? No wonder people are selling them for such insanely high prices on eBay. Loading toys should flood the market & put the squeeze on some of the eBayers that are making a killing off of their stuff. This sculpt/cast is by far one of the best I've had a chance to paint up. I'm also gonna be doing their Damon & Craig. I've found some stuff that strips the paint beautifully without making the material look "dusted & powdery"

All Off - marking ink remover at Optisource.com. This stuff is amazing

Just took pix & before completing the shoot the batteries died!?!, Will try to get them posted tomorrow along with shots of the Dexter head/neck mod & Death Note's L

ok, so here's my humble attempt to do up Statham as Frank
As usual I welcome any comments & criticisms.

Here's mine.

Loaded Toys head (stock standard)
Hot Toys Truetype body (older style, not a 38)
Beretta FS92 INOX (from IKE-CON - to be replaced)
Suits, Shirt, Tie, Holster (Reservour Dogs SSC)
Gloves (Hot Toys) - need to be painted fully black.

toyadventurer,Mando, thanks.

I only try to enhance what detail the sculpt provides. I felt the likeness was better once the stock paint had been removed. Just went to work trying to make the skin tones as close to Stathams as possible, as well as showing the darker/lighter areas in his hair where the stubble is thicker around the sides & back & slightly darker sideburns. The sculpt material really is amazing stuff. I wish it were more commonly used. I only stripped the head, clear coated it then added details

LordAzrael, looks great! I like that yours has driving gloves. Also like the cut of the suit. I really think the Loading head is possibly the definitive Statham sculpt avail. right now
BTW, my Hawks won last night, woo hoo AFL

If I get my grubby mitts on another head, I'm gonna do him up as Monk from Mean Machine
