Hot Toys - MMS DX 01- The Dark Knight - The Joker spec and pics

I was thinking of pre-ordering this. I've looked at ordering from either the Urban Collector or BBTS. I've never used either. I do have one pre-order pending with Alter Ego, though (Enterbay Bauer). Other than that, I've never pre-ordered anything except the Raiders Indy directly from Sideshow.

What sites can you recommend? I care more about price than promptness (I am willing to wait until the DCD shipment if necessary) -- though, all things being equal, earlier is certainly better.

Who generally gets the earlier shipments, and who among them has the most reasonable prices? Who has the most reasonable prices (shipping included) regardless of shipment time? Who can you recommend for quality and reliability?

So far I've usually had really good luck with BBTS, I've always been happy with the customer service they offer, their prices are usually pretty good too, the only think is that they don't get the figures that fast.

Toys2.net is my other stop and they usually get them fairly early on I think, but with shipping their prices tend to be a little bit higher than you may want.

I'm not sure what you mean--but if Hot Toys doesn't include those things they would be sued

BBTS it is, then. It is $5 cheaper than Urban Collectors -- and, if I change my mind for whatever reason (better price, etc.), no harm in cancelling.

That would suck, but I've never seens Hot Toys put out a product that didn't come with everything shown when it debuted, so I think it's very unlikely to happen, I wouldn't worry about it one bit. When you order this thing, you're getting everything seen on page 1, may not look identical, but it'll all be there. Except the clear cube to rest the head on, that's just for the photo.

Very doubtful they'd do it because they seem to be pushing this moving eye thing a lot and if I read correctly, it is only on the face paint head.

I wish he came with a pencil, instead of the gun, knife is a given i guess, but kind of odd to not have it in there, especially when the grenade rig is mob scene specific

I love that with the poseable eyes I'll really be able to recreate images like "and I thought my jokes were bad" the way he really cocks his head all goofy.

But they could put those with the Nurse Joker. The pencil can go with the file.

I wanted them to add the shotgun too, i can never find the right one on ebay or anywhere, some guy in some board had a picture of the correct one but never replied after being asked millions of times where he got it. I just ended up saving the picture of the shotgun hoping to find it someday.

I preordered at $149.99 and then the price jumped earlier today after the news to $174.99. My preorders page still has a $149.99 price listed, which hopefully holds because that would be a killer price to get this set.

That would be a steal! I just paid just over 300 Aus. I think about 313 shipped. Anyone got a month of estimated ship? When is early Q3?

Lucky Hopefully it does hold at that price. I wanted to pre-order at BBTS but has no mention of it being the MMS DX. All it mentions is the Police Version. I wonder if they will update the listing with new pictures?
