I have been longing to see a decent repaint of it too.

Where is that Joker pic from?

looking back over those previous pics of the figure, the headsculpt is not that bad....the textures of the wite make up look quite good and the shape of his chin reminds me of ledger a lot. There are alos hints at his scarring whihc appear to be quite accurate. I think with a top quality repaint, the headsculp could be very good indeed. The clothes on the other hand are a different problem entirely.

I see no resemblence at all. It looks worse then the V1.

surely you good give it a chance? someone could give it a decent repaint. V1 was terrible but at least this one has potential

The eyes are too big IMO, and the scars are just off. Like the V1.

Eyes are indeed too big, and get a load of his schnoz. That is one freakin huge nose.

Scars also look off. I'd like to see a repaint but wouldn't expect much.

What it comes down to is this is a waste of money in every way IMO. Hot Toys Jokers look far superior in sculpt, clothes, and paint apps, and aren't an inch shorter then other 12" figures. Pointless to try to compete, they should make a Scarecrow or Ras instead and corner that market while Hot Toys touches themselves with Ledger dolls some more.

I can't work out how they can call it 1/6. Even the Takara is the same height as Hot Toys.

I had the Rocketeer back when I had no other 1/6 stuff so I didn't realise, but the other day when I finally put my Jack Torrance in the detolf next to my Medi Hannibal Lecter, I was shocked. He's a legit midget. No way this stuff is true 1/6 scale, that or these Japanese people are really tiny and don't know any better.

after seeing that comparison, it definately isnt ALL bad, its pretty close actually. a few things off but better than V1 sculpt wise. Get J C Hong onto a repaint though god that paint is SHOCKING

Ok, umm one's on a stand and the other is not. So if you take the Medicom one off the stand and place it by the HT one, I'm sure it will be more shorter...

The earlier pics looks shorter cos the neck was bent down, if you keep it upright, they are more or less the same height.

Also, I did not modify the Medicom Joker by adding extenders, thats how tall he is out of the box.

Yes and his wearing that until I get my BillyB joker Shirt & tie that can actually be worn properly.

Well, the Medi looks VERY poor by comparison, but there are def elements I would want to pick up and modify. I like the shoes and bright trousers and would love to get the head onits own to paint.

His nose is the worst area on the face by far. Massive.

Yeah, Medicom joker ain't that good, what I like most about it is that the coat & pants are more purple.

I think the head will be decent after a repaint....shall try my hand at it, once I figure out how to do so.
