31" wow, do i hear custom biult display :D. well worth it imo.

the face shots are.......... (speechless).
the face shots, eyes, spike and hair are just perfect. like i said right out of the movie. i'm definately going to have to see that in person someday.
again congrats and beautiful masterpiece you got there.

Thanks quad, you should get this one yourself...it's that good.

Custom case will be ordered tomorrow. There is a place here in Edmonton that builds custom cases made from plastic. Had them build the one for my MR Millennium Falcon. They are very reasonable with their prices as well.

Mama Predator: "Somebody's been eating *my* porridge!"

Awesome pics SquiderM3 ... I'm photographer and your job it's great ....

Any dude ... Predator Cinemaquette or Predator Maquette .. How it's the best in your opinion. ... I'm a big Predator fan and I wanted the Maquette exclusive.

I didn't think it was possible but you simply surpassed yourself with the level of quality you normally exhibit for the world to see, which already was at an insane level.

Please adopt me as your southern son.

Thanks for the Christmas gift dude.

i know one thing, the base on the Cinemaquette is as perfect as the pred himself. the detail on the base is integrate as the statue itself.

i love statues with detail bases. really adds to the over all piece.

Thanks guys, glad you like the pics!

:horror:horror:horror you guys must be loaded :cool:

Easy now, this coming from the guy with multiple Grey Hulk PF's, Marvel Sample Spidey's, 2 Thor PF's, Balrog....shall I go on..:lol

Thanks Lugosi,

As an owner of both the SS and the CM pieces, I hope I can offer an unbiased opinion to this ongoing debate.

The SS piece is a great piece but in no way, offers anywhere near the overall presence of the CM. I'm not saying this just because of the size difference. Even before placing the pieces next to each other, the CM had a stance and 'attitude' that was not present in any previous rendition of the character. This was apparent from the early release photos from the SDCC. The pose of the SS is awkward and to this day, the proportions of the body and head seem "off" to me. Can't quite put a finger on it, but it just seems awkward. I actually prefer the pose of the smaller diorama.

Without getting into a long winded review, I can sum it up this way. On a scale from 1 to 10, 10 being the best...I would give the CM a 10 and the SS an 8. Don't get me wrong, I will have both in my collection forever but if my house caught fire, I would save the CM Predator before anything else, even my bronze Boba Fett, it's that good.

For the price of the SS Predator Exclusive on the secondary market, I would definitely just put that towards a CM Predator, without a doubt.

I hope this helps.

The detail on the base is incredible and pics cannot do it justice. The moss on the trees looks real as does the water effect. The bushes are my only complaint as they look a bit cheap but don't really draw too much attention though.

Dude....

Dude....

Your posts make me laugh everytime....seriously...

Dude...:D

This piece had the unenviable fate of being shot after the CM Predator. Not surprisingly, I had a hard time getting motivated. I also realized this will be most likely be my last Bowen statue purchase (my LCS ordered it for me long ago and I fulfilled my obligation to buy it).Their Marvel cast of characters is second to none but after looking at SS PF's, I realize the sculpting and paint is nothing I want to pay for anymore.

Anyways, here are some pics of the Black Knight.

i defn see yur point squider, i have the SS ex. maquette and i think i will b able to afford one the cm preds soon and have both. the bio on the SS is what attracted me most to it, so i will b excited to have 2 awesome pieces to display one with and one without the bio on. i just cant believe the size difference of the two, the presence of the cm is unbelievable.
