Wayne just arrived! Not too shabby. Tux looks nice. I think the sculpt is good but the paint apps don’t really help to bring out the likeness. The eyebrows are a bit too thick and something in general just not quite Keaton around the eyes. Still pretty great for the price.

You hit the nail on the head. For the price, this is a great release. If this was a $295 hot toy, everyone would be nitpicking. As a back of the display figure, this is great. I swore I would only buy Nolan figures. Then I swore only Nolan and 66 figures. Now, here I am…

Tremendous figure. Can't wait to see how he looks with Alfred and the HT 89 Batman.

Had seen a few comments on FB questioning the likeness but it's spot on Keaton for me. I did notice it wasn't showing up in pics how it looked to my eye but getting some shadow on him helped a ton.

I like how the glasses hook over the ears and aren't falling off constantly.

Hands feel slightly oversized but seems a common problem with 1/6 scale figures.

Ankles are sturdy enough to display without a stand. All my other Mars Toys figures have annoyingly weak ankles so hopefully a sign they've fixed that recurring issue.

The hands definitely look large. Thought that might just be some lens distortion. I definitely see Keaton in there.
I'm in the same boat as Gipetto. I can't just buy this cause it's a nice figure. Missing this made skipping Alfred easier. I thought about it though.

Didn't someone say they (Mars) announced they would not be doing immediate 2nd runs any more after Romero Joker? Maybe further down the road when they have less backlog. I believe it was in the Mr J Joker thread.

No announcement from Mars but Kit has strongly advised him not to do 2nd runs right away as the risk of not being able to keep the same consistency is too high. Plus it slows down the release schedule too much for the other figures. Pre orders look to be a requirement now for 3rd party companies as extra stock units are no guarantee

If so, don't necessarily give up hope based purely on the bad press.

I pre-ordered some stuff from them in June 2022. The pre-order was fulfilled (along with everyone else's at other retailers) in September 2023 (so pretty recent, definitely not before the bad press - unless things have gotten worse?).

Well...I ordered wayyy before TW fell off. As a matter of fact, my most recent order was the CW Battle Droid and Clone Trooper...I received both figures and those were ordered after the Mr. W. order but before the fall out with Justin.

No...it was Love Love Toys. They have a 97.9% feedback rate but clearly are kinda slimy.
I'm just gonna wait to see what happens. As soon as these guys got the figure in stock they raised the price significantly. I'll let em sit on it. I will get it when I get it.

I tried Kit but he never let me know he had extras...just listed them on Fb I guess so I missed that opportunity as I don't have Fb.

Since Mars may not be doing 2nd runs, it is possible they may consider Batcave Wayne (jeans and black turtleneck) as a way to maximize their sculpt.
