Hot toys stepped up a lot, with the current prototype of inart I hope they give us a much better headsculpt onto the next event.
Hot Toys version looks great but that photo shows me the smaller stuff that I'm liking on INARTs so far.

The consistent texture happening from INARTS ab section all the way up to the chest plate is more accurate. You get that soft felt-like thin detailed texture throughout. Hot Toys ab padding also comes across too thick there. The more thinly layered cape is also nicer on the shoulders from INART. Wider and higher chest plate is also more accurate on theirs. I do like Hot Toys more glossy shoulder plating, although I think a middle ground between the two would be best since the detailing and scratches on INARTs is better done. Darker eyes on the INART version would also look better but hard to say if that's lighting difference or not. Hot Toys does have that correct thigh stitching but not a make or break for me. INART should fix that though if they're aware of it.

All in all, this is their prototype we're comparing to and who knows how the production version comes out looking. I'd pick INARTs version over Hot Toys on proportions alone though. That really bother me on Hot Toys.

Let’s get a list going coz I have no idea what’s what anymore.

Here’s a nitpick list from both companies did better than the other. (From inarts latest proto)

Pros of HT
- The belt left pouches are bigger (not 100% certain)
- Curvature of the chest fits closer to the body
- Shoulder pad shinier
- Smoother cowl texture
- Liking the longer nose of HT so far
- Darker iris

Pros of Inart
- Abs more defined
- More weathering and scratches
- More accurate pants detail especially the sides
-More accurate chestplate material
- Much better eye shape than HT (except the color in this proto)
- More proportionate to Robert Pat’s physique
- Suit more color and hue accurate (HT too dark)
-Thinner cape material

The rest are either on par, or we will have to wait for the final release to compare further.

Edit: if inart revises the cowl which we’ll see on the next event, the only major detail HT has done better is the glossy shoulder pad. Everything else Inart has won.

The cowl hasn't change through any of the prototypes
People kept saying the cowl had to much texture so they redid it.
@Luisenigma1 Cowl has always been the same texture since V1 prototype. The only thing I can think they could have changed is the nose, and cowl overall shape. (Might be more narrower? But it’s difficult to tell with camera distortion)

@batmanfan23 Inart literally said they have been reworking the cowl from their YouTube channel. They just don’t tell us what gets changed. (But they did clearly like the nose) The picture on the right was the update months ago not final as well, so I’m sure they will nail the final revision.

Yes they said they are working on the cowl but they never said that a changed cowl was displayed. Throughout this process people keep claiming they are seeing changes - like the nose of the cowl is longer it’s covering his nose now! Then you see it from another angle and it’s actually unchanged. Others say they changed the texture of the cowl! Then different angles of the cowl come out and we’re like actually no it’s the same. The changes if any will be reflected in the final production pics

We'll not know for sure until it's in hand. At the very least if they change the eye color then I'll be satisfied with it.

You get a lot of arm-chair experts in this forum.

You show a picture of a known "no-changes" photo and people will claim they changed something.

Very true indeed, low resolution photos can change so much, as much as camera focal length. Like I said Inart doesn't mention subtle detail changes until they are confident they're going to implement those changes onto the figure. The eye color for example is lighter than the previous prototypes. But then they never mentioned it in the post? Who's to say the eye color would be the only thing they changed. The events are almost like a testing ground to constantly get feedback on until they announce the final production images and changes.

Good of IA to wait until HT, now they can grab the HT version and have it in hand, then make improvements to be sure better.
Honestly the hot toys version blew my expectations by miles! I can’t wait to see what InArt come out with to top it off
