Man, all this is exactly why I don't like pre-ordering and pre-paying for figures on eBay. With the limited Paypal claim time, you can easily get screwed on this. I mean, I'm sure you guys will get this resolved, but it looks like it's gotta be frustrating as hell.

it usually takes 2 or 3 days after leaving HK for you to get the item so hopefully you'll get it this week. good luck!

Good for you. I filed a claim a day before you and the guy is totally ignoring me. No refund, no claim, nothing yet.

I've heard that as well, but I wouldn't want my money to be used to fund them :) I have heard of instances where this went very sour...the one from the RPF several years ago where they tried to do a group buy for the Toys McCoy Indy pops to mind. One guy organized a group buy, claims he sent the money overseas, and no one ever heard anything again.

Thanx I am hoping it all works out, and that my Joker comes in good condition :D
I am just disappointed it had to get to this point. Hopefully, everyone else that dealt with animate will either get their Jokers or a refund :monkey4
 
I think mine is EMS, it was sent on the 8th, and today it got to the U.S. and went through customs, and is now in transit, really fast. I wonder how long it'll take to get here.
 
good to see them shipping sorry it took threats and chasing them to get them to ship for some of you. gonna hold my breath and take a chance on them hope it works out decent.

I would not buy from animate ever again, it has been an annoying frustrating situation all the way around.
 
Quick OT question...My tracking number shows up on the USPS system and the Hong Kong post tracking system, but not the EMS. Does this mean animate shipped it airmail as apposed to the the EMS shipping I paid for? :?
