I've loved Desperado since it came out.

I always thought it was an excellent action movie.

Was I just blinded by Salma Hayek's insanely perfect body and face all along? Is it really as bad as everything else he's done?

No it still holds up today.

Seems like with F&F u just don't know what you'll get week to week. Superb to mind-numbingly lame to insane like the genocidal egg snarfing Grogu (which I thought was hilarious).

Egg-chugging Grogu WAS hilarious and that will never be taken from me. The best thing about it was the absolute 110% seriousness with which the social media crowd was declaring that a fictional baby should be cancelled. That will learn him.....! Ok yeah right and the whole time I was sitting there hoping he would eat more of them.

Was the frog peoples species endangered? No, didnt think so and so I dont give a damn if a literal child eats their kids. Grogu has an iron stomach and he does what he wants. What DOESNT he eat, is the question. Eggs, live worms, octopi.... He dont stint on the protein.

Well, as far as comments on writing go, for me the enthusiasm for these shows was dampened by bringing in characters like Luke so early and the unkillable Ahsoka. I know any number of folks disagree but at this point I get happy when the focus is on new/Mando etc. and less enthused when the Filoni verse of CW redux shows up....

At this point doing something boring or just blowing through a scene (like Boba Fett and the Sarlacc and Din D'jarin and Grogu) would be the usual IMO. Seems like with F&F u just don't know what you'll get week to week. Superb to mind-numbingly lame to insane like the genocidal egg snarfing Grogu (which I thought was hilarious).

As an aside apparently Rosario Dawson was less than happy about the finale. But if I were her I wouldn't comment; for me she has been a rather lifeless Ahsoka except when fighting. Plus dont think Filoni is at his best directing or writing alone and think the Ahsoka show is his baby. Will see.

Anyway what a time to be a fan pretty sure there's gonna be a mythosaur

i’m not much of a feloni fan as far as the animated cgi stuff goes, i have watched a lot (i grew up with the PT so the serial CW mini series was my jam). but i do like some of the disney+ stuff he’s been involved in. mando is great, i hope obi is too. i was hoping the same for boba but it just felt cheap.

I'm just never getting over the directive choice to have one of the side characters literally do a 360 spin and shoot in the same direction he was originally standing in....

I thought I must have imagined it when watching the episode but apparently this did actually happen? Was he dodging blaster fire even?

Man, it just hit me that they did indeed kill off Jennifer Beal's character!

Worst series ever!!!

I was really surprised more wasnt made of this when it happened, given the thirst levels for her that I was seeing both here and elsewhere. Then everyone was like, "Meh."

Someone made a joke that they had to kill her because she used up all the costume budget, all by herself and who knows....?

I know I'm a disgusting cis-het toxic male, but yeah....Jennifer Beals is hot. Ming-Na Wen is hot. I know it's a show for children and all but I'd have really liked a scene where Boba wakes up in his water tank and stretches and goes downstairs for his morning coffee and he catches Jennifer Beals sneaking out of Fennec's room.

Then Fett and Shand have an uncomfortable breakfast in silence, and when Boba goes to say something she just gives him the side eye for the 800th time.

Hmmm. Just cause we didn't see it, doesn't mean it didn't happen. There. It's now in my head canon. Along with a lot worse stuff.
