Yeah, think it can be forgotten that a huge part of the audience may view Boba as that "bounty hunter who died in Star Wars" if they even make the connection. I'm one of the ones who was baffled by the mystique? obsession with the character and had to go read about it. 'Coz, yah know, he was a minor character who DIED. In a pit. Being digested.
That may be sacrilege to Boba fans, but there it is. But I liked Boba in Mando, and - Temuera Morrison. Loved the look. Worst case, figure I could sell, tho I don't sell my figs, so far. Had RP points and it's a fully loaded figure (gawd knows HT puts out enough thin releases
- they seem to be cutting back on the number of hands, for one thing). Plus Mando and Boba together on a shelf are badass.
(Also, tho I'm an MCU fan - like OK, Falcon and Bucky; a series I am really looking forward to - but do I really need any more MCU? Raises the age-old question of "when do you STOP?" I need another Obi-Wan more than another Falcon and Bucky, even if they are in the top tier of fav MCU characters for me.)
