Hey Hoody. There?s a strong anti-Pop vibe happening over in the Lando skiff thread. You?re welcome to join us and vent over these ubiquitous seeds of the devil.[emoji106]

LOL the *&^% things. Tho maybe a solid investment:lol:lol:lol as my $12 Thorin is now worth ~ $80 and Mando #1 has tripled in price!

Not like I don't have a whole group shipping next week:monkey3

Yep. the Devil's Seeds - started with 1 and they multiplied. Sad to say HT is the same tho.:lol

Funko are the new Beanie Babies, it's hilarious because in Funko Groups in FB people go ape**** if you say that. :lol:lol:lol

I will say this, you can get a return if you're lucky. I bought a Headless Ned Stark during that SDCC and forgot about it for $15. Sold it for $950 in one of those groups so you never know. If you buy what you like then you might get something eventually (until that bubble pops) but there are a ton of people buying like that Beanie Babies video and that'll be fun to watch in a few years.

$950??? Holy f#$%!!!

It's a rarity for them to hit that high, it's also while I liked it when I saw what it was going for I jumped on it.

There is a Vegeta that routinely goes high

That's what is building that bubble that you know is going to pop. There was one cereal icon that was a Funko site exclusive that immediately sold out and then was on eBay selling for $200. In a few years you'll be able to get it for probably around $10. :lol

I don't think Funkos are going away anytime soon, been around a long time and are totally different than Beanie Babies. The whole point is they're all based on properties people love and you can do everything you like in the same size box and look. Beanie Babies were just animals.

If u sold a Funko for $950 - that's, that's - friggin' awesome.

Funko collectors would be horrified - I pop those suckers right out of the box and line 'em up, IMO they're shelf/desk ornaments. Sure hope all that vinyl is recyclable - like bbs think it's a market that's over-produced and gonna crash.

I srsly only buy what I like. Think I have a nice collection of MCU HTs, but years from now will anyone give a *&^% about the MCU? Folks might, but IMO never buy anything u don't luv and aren't gonna haul out of the package and play with.

Too bad Favreau & Filoni derailed my "ratchet back on collecting plans" - d@mmit:lol. So when is HT gonna put out a 1/6 scale dewback and blurg set, then:monkey3?

My Funko Thanos-on-Throne ex is now apparently worth 1/2 what I paid. That's insulting, that is, I have the box and everything.

The problem is that people are trying to find the next "big" pop. The older one routinely go for higher amounts especially when they revisit lines like The Simpsons but it's oversaturating. You find a ton on eBay for much lower than retail that people were nabbing because they thought they would flip it. It inflates "demand."

It was rarity. I've sold for a couple for a hundred but I've never sold anything near that price before and probably won't again.

Definitely a few pops out there worth a bit. I had a 2013 SDCC Tony Stark I paid $15 for and sold it shortly after endgame for $600. He paid for my IW War Machine and some preorder nrds.

Well... knew this was coming. Nice of them to release it during the Zombie Apocalypse (at least what CNN tells us.) I?m sure they will get tons of pre-orders when most folks are worried about families, jobs and (evidently) TP.

There is no TP in my entire county. Or state. Preciousssssss.

I don't think a business carrying on is a bad thing. Gives some normalcy. HT like everyone will probably take a hit.

I wonder if people will start cancelling these pre orders since the updated armor version went up along with the child extra :dunno

Getting both. Love the character and can justify the original armor since that is how we first met him. Original with rifle, Beskar without.
