Well, isn't that just an amazing piece. Sometimes I think I gave up on the Black Series at just the wrong time, with the face tech coming in and gems like this, Wedge and Biggs being produced. Love that Hoth Rebel Trooper from the 2nd wave of the ESB 40th anniversary line. I only wish Hot Toys could be as inspired as this for the ESB anniversary. Really happy for those that have stuck with the Black Series, they're getting some amazing stuff.

Yeah, I haven't been this excited for Hasbro to release something in many, many years. The snowspeeder, Luke snowspeeder and the Hoth rebel (which I'll need two of to display both heads) look stunning, and that vehicle is going to be huge!

And yeah, really hope HT does more ESB this year. Leia Bespin is a great start, and hopefully Leia Bespin escape isn't far behind.

Re: Hasbro 6" Black Series Star Wars line

No Mandalorian or TROS Black Series announced.. kinda scratching my head here.

Would've expected some more Clone Wars/Rebels figures as well, at least something.
I mean...it's on the edge but the show only launched in mid November. We just passed the three month mark. To take designs and then sculpt, prototype, and have them approved by the Mouse in that time might just be too close to deliver by TF.

Maybe they just wanted to focus on ESB's 40th as a main theme.

I am confident we will see more Mando at SDCC though. A Kuiil with hoverpram housed Child would be a good set. Something sized like Maz Kanata's packout.

Totally impressed with the Hoth Rebel Trooper. With the interchangeable faces, goggles, and scarf supposedly you can mix and match to create 12 different appearances. That is a fantastic approach to army building. I wish they would've thought of this sooner for figures like the Han Solo Mudtrooper and the Rebel Fleet Trooper.

I'm trying to cut back on Black Series and focus more on Hot Toys, but I'm definitely buying multiple of the Hoth Trooper.

Yeah, I've only ever really bought BS6 figs on deep sale/clearance - is that Hoth Rebel price more expensive than the other new BS6 figures?

It's a brilliant figure. These Toy Fair announcements have so supercharged my BS6 interest level.

I bought them, but didn't actually do this yet, but I had bought 2 rebel troopers and 2 death star troopers and was planning on swapping heads to give them both variety.
