Ha yeah, just do like everyone else nowadays and release them as "Spaceship Commander" or "Alien First Officer". :D
Honestly it’s true. So many knock off companies now days. I wonder how they don’t get in trouble. Sure using a different name, but clearly using likenesses and outfits/symbols associated with characters.

nanjin, seriously what would it take to put these into production without qmx? These deserve to see the light of day!

Someone send me PM here regarding some Sulu parts.

Dont know why, I could not reply PM. Please send questions to my email: [email protected] or through Facebook messages.

Btw, this is the Spock which I did last year. At the end of 2018, I started pushing 3 figures at the ****ed-up Q Continuum because Dec 7 2019 was TMP 40th Anniversary. I supposed to put out 3 TMP figures at around USD 120-130 range or even lower - Plain outfit-head sculpts figures.

Truly, what a shame that you didn't get to implement your plan fully.

And that "Enterprise Arrival" Spock looks fantastic.

I weep and dream for what could have been!

Still hoping that someday 1/6 Trek is done again.

If a 3rd party started making KO versions of Sulu, i would snap him up. I want to give my money to the licensor, but they're clearly not interested.

QMX I just don't get- either advertise and support the Trek license or give it up..I was hopeful with the K/S reissues that they were moving forward..but nothing now...still hoping

The whole thing is really odd. I understand that the 1:6 industry is challenging - production requires a lot of up front capital (especially as QMX don't do long-term pre-orders) and they have had a few slower sellers over the years. However, the last four releases for Trek (Scotty, Sulu, Kirk, Spock) have all sold-out pretty instantly. The quality of these releases would easily warrant another $10-20 on the purchase price, if they need to adjust the price point to support shorter production runs for less popular characters.

I honestly don't know what their game is, but given they are the company that released Dean Winchester without a Sam (then wondered why he didn't sell out)... I've given up guessing their logic.
