It's actually for the smaller TOD sculpt, saw some decent results with that hat. Have the Hot Toys, but not crazy about the rubber look it has, though it's convenient for various sculpts since it's got some give. I have a Jnix hat coming that might work too -- I still haven't fully given up on that TOD sculpt despite it's size.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh... I thought you were trying to make the MJ head work.

The MJ hat has an odd shape about it -- too wide at the bottom (because of the large head) and tapers too sharply to the top.

Yeah I've never been able to get anything to work with that TOD head either. I tried the Jnix hat but even after sanding the inner rim as thin as possible and warming it up beforehand, I could never get it to sit quite as low as I wanted in the back.

But it's probably for the best, since I think the likeness on that head works a lot better without the hat anyway.

I just don't see what others see in that SS ToD sculpt. Its not a great likeness and the head is small.

I wish Inigo would do a genuine ToD sculpt.

There's hope in it underneath that paint. But I can't argue with the size, it's a problem. Rzeznikk's might be the best I've seen painted.

I think someone needs to start one from scratch. The new Inigo looks great but it looks like a modified version of the v2, and the more I look at it I just don't think it will work as TOD (goes without saying that it wasn't intended to be). Jnix made an Indy but it was clearly a modified Han, and then he offered a TOD paint job, but again with the same sculpt.

Inigo's smiling sculpt demanded everything be new, a TOD version would likely need that fresh start as well, but it might be a while since he's just released his latest Raiders and has the Dr. Jones sculpt in the pipeline. He might be our best hope though, has shown sustained interest in the character.

Totally agree on all point, especially the need for one started from scratch AND that Inigo has shown sustained interest... so I hope that continues.

I'm building a ToD Indy soon though, so I selfishly want a good sculpt now. :lol

I want that look he has before he cuts the bridge down.

All the heads have been a bit too small for my taste. I don't have an Inigo Indy yet, but his Deckard, the Jnix Indy and TOD heads are all the exact same small size for some reason. Since I'm using a slimmer body for Raiders the smaller head kinda works well enough, but I'd much rather have something closer to HT size. Especially for that bigger TOD body.

I'm always surprised that the largish Han Jnix head (in a good way) ended up as a slightly small Indy. Something happened between his Han/Deckard sculpts and the Indy one. He reshaped the ears, maybe took some of the cheeks off to do the stubble, thinned out the nose, the eyes sometimes seem closer together. Still has those pursed lips though.

Maybe he used a mold to work from off of a casting of the Han... which would be smaller. :dunno

If he keeps doing that, this next head will be itsy. :)

Also could be the resin he uses to cast. Some have more shrinkage than others.

I have to admit, I do not have an Inigo Indy head yet... but I would like to. I would like to have a ToD Indy by Inigo.

The TOD Inigo head is clearly the best ... when it finally happens that is. No others will come close.

Finally decided to try the zipped up look on the Iris jacket. Have to admit it's pretty cool that Luis made that feature happen.

Great pics TonTon.

There's a Yunsil jacket on eBay going for about 550 USD if anyone's feeling brave.

Could get two Iris sets for that.

And thanks for the nice words, guys. Been taking a ton of pics since I got the Iris set, haven't taken the plunge with weathering yet, but maybe soon. Indy can't be looking all pristine.

So how are you liking the Iris jacket compared to the Yunsil, now that you've had time to play?

Still having trouble taming the Iris collar to the degree I'd like, tried the rubber band a few nights in a row, magnets (not permanent but just as another way to shape overnight) and my hope was to get that under control before moving on to other steps like adding wrinkles or whatever, but the jacket has quite the recall for how the collar was initially, and pulling the jacket away from the body to expose more shirt sends the collar up a bit. Really hope to avoid something permanent like glue, maybe a wire could work.

Those little tricks have helped though. TimeMeddler inspired shot here.

That just looks awesome. Mind taking a body shot showing the sculpt in better light. Nate does some awesome paint jobs. I might have the Jnix displayed on indy for a bit until I xan get the inigo V3 and have it painted later.

Definitely. I'll try to snap some pics in the daylight tomorrow w/the Raiders outfit.

Working on some water treatment for the TOD clothes, only one round on the shirt so far. Interested in doing some sweat marks in certain spots. What do people use for that?
