QMx hasn't put up a new 1/6 figure aside from Trek in a while, was the last one Dread Pirate Roberts? Whoever is in the Nanjin role on their other project doesn't seem to be putting tons of effort in, or maybe QMx just has little resources to devote and Q-Figs make so much more.

They released one of the guys from supernatural . I feel sorry for whoever bought that figure thinking it was a safe bet they would make both

I have to say QMX release of Sulu and now Chekof
is a head scratcher. Only the true hardcore
TOS fans will go deep into the crew after the big 3.

Why not move to the more popular TWOK
movie followed by TNG?

Because they want more longevity for the line. At least I hope they do.

I think Sulu and chekof will do a slow death
after the initial purchase by the hardcore fans.

Only the most hardcore fans will go
past the three kings in my view.

From a selfish point, I hope they make the 7 crew
But I think QMX will be In for a surprise after
they re lease the Kirk and Spock figure if they
think that would be the silver bullet to increase
Sulu and checkof sales

I responsibled for all production and development not just Trek. Every figure that had been displayed went through me, only the currently displayed WW outfit didnt (but the previous protos were through me).

I just didn't mention them much.

I think they are releasing Sulu and Chekov because most collectors are rightly frustrated when only the most popular characters are made and then companies move on to something else...

Oh well that's good to know then.

I hope you're working on an Andre the Giant body! lol

So, Supernatural went through you. I know you said you don’t know what they will actually release or not, but could you at least tell us if Sam has already entered production, or is it a secret you can’t betray?

Which is ironic if that's their genuine motivation rather than speculation considering that's what qmx has done with supernatural , firefly and princess bride

I won't pretend to have any clue what anyone at QMX could possibly be thinking...I am just pointing out the strangeness of the fact that most collectors Express justifiable displeasure when companies leave figure lines incomplete so it seems a bit strange that when QMX are suggesting that they will offer less popular characters allowing the line to be completed some folks on the thread seem to be questioning their decision. Baffling to me that collectors would not be celebrating the completion of a line for a change.

I do applaud then for at least attempting to complete the bridge crew. I've preordered the kirk and spock reissues and despite my issues with a lot of what qmx has done with their releases am still willing to give them money when they deliver

Yeah I totally agree with you, they're like 2 figures away. It's not like they've got another 10 to do.
