This is looking so good, the gate diorama is great, not too large to use for regular display.

Along with 3A Optimus, this is my most anticipated release, and I have about 15 hot toys on Pre-order

The only other Tolkien items on show were Thorin, Eomer, Theoden, Thranduil & The mouth of Sauron (couldn't tell if it was a new version of the latter two). Still waiting for clearer photos or video.

Thanks for the info, so new LOTR figs previewed - that's what I wanted to know about. It looks like I'm getting off lightly with this Comic Con for a change then

Someone on OSS's Facebook page just posted exactly what was quoted above in individual photo's. Thranduil appears to be a second release with new sculpt. No Elrond, Galadriel, Azog, GtW or surprise announcements . Bummer, ho hummed through Hot Toys showcase waiting for the Asmus booth, let down all around. Ah well, let's get that new Gandalf sculpt out!

Damn, oh well, never mind, they will be something to look forward to seeing in the months ahead I guess, I really was hoping they would show at least one of Gandalf the White, Galadriel or Elrond.

Not been a very good comic con for figure reveals this year (for me anyway).

Base looks cool but how does Gandalf stand on it. The gate is right in the middle of the base and the figure holder is pointed sideways.

I guess the best way to display is have Gandalf off the base standing next to it?
