The night before, around 1a.m., I guarantee they will become available again to order for store pickup. Whenever they sell out on me, I always manage to order one the night before.

So it's looking like the option of buying online (for shipment) is truly gone then?

Anything is possible, but I haven't noticed shipping being an option in those instances.

I could be wrong, I usually choose pickup because I have 3 Best Buys within 15 minutes of me. Might not have noticed shipping being available.

Apparently the streamed version of Alita includes ther IMAX aspect ratio. I tried to include a comparison pic, but couldn't upload it, for whatever reason.

Anybody buying a digital copy wish to confirm this?

Apparently the streamed version of Alita includes ther IMAX aspect ratio.

Where are you hearing that?

EDIT: I see a couple people reporting on other site that if you watch Alita on Xfinity MA you get the open matte version. I have Xfinity but what the hell does "MA" refer to?

1080p not 4K but just like Harmy SW I don't care this is the version I saw in theaters and will be the ONLY way I watch it at home! :rock

It's a shame you have to jump through hoops to get the IMAX dimensions. I'm still bummed BvS never had the IMAX version released.

Movie should be released the way the director put them in theaters as that is what their intended vision is. The imax scenes are a must. Looks good on your display Khev.

Totally agree punisher. At least Movies Anywhere is giving us all that we saw in IMAX and more. I say "and more" because the aspect ratio doesn't change throughout the film so even the 2.39:1 scenes are "open matte." Kind of like what they used to do with Super 35 films in the 90's. I'm guessing going the open matte route allowed them to get around the fee to IMAX had they wanted to do a direct replication of the theatrical ratio. I actually kind of like having the benefit of the expanded picture without the distraction of alternating aspect ratios.

I do wish it was 4K but I'll take it regardless.

The switching aspect ratios can be jarring for sure depending how it is handled. 4K does look awesome no doubt but 1080p is no slouch either. I love the harmy star wars trilogy and that's only 720p so they can still look on these newer displays.

I'm watching Last Starfighter on blu ray right now. Looks good on the 4k tv. The computer effects are obvious but they always stood out but I still like the ship design and enjoy the movie.
