That might not be the case. Sometimes open editions are much more rare and much more expensive to grab after release. Take for example... the clean Endo Head Sideshow released. When it came out, most arrived damaged, as might be the case with the Iron Man bust knowing Sideshow's history with Iron Man products. Now that same clean endo skull goes for about a grand on ebay. That too was produced in association with Stan Winston studios as well as other bust that haven risen in value.
However, in this instance I would strongly suggest getting them all. Sell something or do what you have to. All 3 of these pieces if they come out looking nearly as good as their prototypes will be highly sought after. Better to not take the chance and get them for retail is my motto.

Stealth Iron Man = Maybe, but then I don't have an Iron Man in that awesome sculpt and pose, and we all know how difficult it is to get one of those mint, and mine is.
Captain America Ex PF = No. Too beautiful.
Green Goblin PF = Personal fav.
Punisher Ex PF = So cool.
Eh, I am growing bored now posting what I have. I got a lot more PFs and SideShow goodness, but I may have to look to sell some Diamond related products instead.

Red Skull ex:Has more chance to be available on 2nd chance longer than Thor,And I see a lot of cancellation too on Sideshow's site when he start shipping, BUT,still, if you like your Cap Pf Ex, it will never be totally the shat while displayed if you dont have the skull to face him.Another keeper.
IM Bust: Yawn....busts are overexpensive half statues, people will ask you where are his legs....
....they'll be plenty on ebay at retail too the first year since its an open edition.Dont be fooled by nice hot rod red color....Its like the Iron Man maquette,never on this forum do I have praise it...people loved the gold and red without even noticing that his football pose sux.The Iron Man fad is over now......pass.

Thor is a lock no matter what. Now it comes down to the 1:1 bust and the Red Skull PF.
In the end I'll probably own all three, but for now I should probably go after what will be the cheapest now and later. As in which will stay the closest to the MRSP price the longest. I can't see the Thor being at retail, and I know I won't be able to get the 1:1 bust for cheaper than that. But at the same time, it may take longer to sell out, where as the Red Skull PF ex is already sold out, but may also be had for a decent price down the road.

Keep the Thor and IM 1:1 Bust. The Red skull would be nice, but I'm sure he won't jump in price like a ton of the other Marvel PFs and could be gotten down the line for not much more.

Stick with PF's Eli. The Iron Man bust looks great, but I think you will be happier with PFs.

The King has spoken, and since the Thor is locked in, that leaves Red Skull to make the two to get. It would fit in with your collection much better than the IM bust, and give your display more depth, seeing as you already have Cap A.
The IM bust, hmmm, doesn't someone make an IM prop helmet? Might be a better alternative for another day.

Although this may be true for the Iron Man 1:1 bust, this isn't VERY true for the Darth Maul 1:1 bust... Even though it's atleast held it's retail value of $600, it isn't selling for much for than that... But the Iron Man bust it very impressive

Good to hear Eli, see if he will order the next marvel exclusive for you, it will save a pretty dime
I also think you should go for all three, don't cancel anything yet, just keep them all on pre-order for now, you never know you might win the lotto.
