I don't remember seeing that - I remember the ROTS version in the tease.

AOTC Anakin would have to be a new figure. The inner robe is lighter, the outer cloak is very different and of course, the portrait would be new.

I do hope HT gets some info out soon (with an image) of Padme. I've been enjoying the new book "The Queen's Shadow" a very Padme-centric story and a bit of a quasi-sequel to Episode One. It's made me think of the character a lot recently. She's the only one who has not gotten a truly premium sixth-scale treatment (and no, that odd "Snowbunny" figure from Sideshow all those years back doesn't count nor do those "deluxe" Hasbro Queen Amaidala figures with the dead, vacant expression heads- although I'm sure there are some who'd say those were dead-on accurate ).

I'd love to see a well-rendered AOTC version from HT soon...

Yes, they might just used the ROTS figure as a place holder and photoshoped the light saber effect. I think we're going to see both AOTC Anakin and Padme with white battle Genoisis really soon.

Hot Toys are unusually quiet on the 1/6 front announcements for the last 6 to 8 weeks now. It's a given there's gonna be a lot of "Avengers: End Game" reveals/PO comes april and most likely for the next 12 months or so. Even though we're talking about Hot Toys here, they can only release a limited amount of references a year.
Yet, with Disney very quiet with news on Star Wars since "Solo" was released a year ago now, i have a feeling Celebration will have a lot to reveal and i'd be surprised if main licencees wouldn't take this opportunity to shed some light on what they have coming. If not movie related, possibly TV related?

You don't plan a Star Wars Celebration to go on for five full days and not expect to deliver BIG news. I know that they'll be pushing the three properties for Triple Force Friday heavy but still. A 5 Day Convention will need more "meat".

I'm going to celebration next month and if I don't see any Padme or other prequel Hot Toys figures that are being coming in the near future I will be not happy and my time at celebration will end disappointed

To me it seems more likely we will get a Queen Amidala figure from the Phantom Menace announced before we get one of her from Attack of the Clones. It is all about the 20th anniversary I expect a young Obi-Wan figure to be announced shortly also

Please make that be true. I don’t understand why they always make the Geonosis version first. That was actually one of her blandest looks in the prequels.

I don't think it's just the sexiness, its that many of Padme's other outfits are dresses and many men associate dresses with dolls and the Geonosis outfit is more "action figure" like. Either that or the Mustafar one which is also a negative for certain people because they don't want a pregnant figure(I want one but not everybody does). Do I think Hot Toys will do only the Geonosis one? No but I think it will come first as its am easier sell. If it does well, we will get one or two of the others but it all depends on that first future's sales.

It’s not even her sexiest outfit in AOTC. Not sure if I’d want a sexy doll... visitors might get the wrong impression.
