Even with the price reductions, i'm still on the fence about picking up Odd-Job and Goldfinger. I definitely want a Dalton Bond though.

I picked up Bond when it came out and just received Goldfinger this week. I have gotten Goldfinger out for a good look yet, great price though

So Dr. No next and then Dalton era -- as expected -- then OHMSS after that.

I wonder how long a time period that will entail? Is that for all of 2019? But certainly not delivered until 2020 considering that its March already.

Dr. No I'm all over. But my collection will likely be limited to the Connery/Moore/Craig eras due to interest and space -- although I might make room for Brosnan's Goldeneye.

So I'm really curious what will follow those entries... that Red Grant render they showed perhaps? Or the Thunderball jetpack? I hate to think that I will be waiting until next year before those will be teased but looks like 2019 is already planned out.

Makes me extra happy to be on the SPY WHO LOVED ME Moore tuxedo project.

I'm curious about the release time as well. Based on the message it sounds like they have several figures in the works (which would match up with the email they sent) but are waiting to unveil until the LALD set is released.

I really like this line and hope they can reach enough people to be successful. I'm actually excited to see their offering for the Dalton Bond.

I'm primarily interested in the range for a good Dalton figure. 'Course if they end up looking good, I'd be all over Red Grant and Lazenby, having met the latter last weekend at a comic con. Extremely happy to see that all is seemingly well with the range, though the deal with preorders being much lower than the amount ordered from the factory and having to wait for interest in LALD makes my heart sink. Perhaps some marketing from the official 007 social media pages would help, unless it already happens?

Remaining hopeful for an older Moore. I see great things ahead, to be honest!

I'd rather they do films that SS havent done before first : FRWL , YOLT , TSWLM , FYEO , OP , AVTAK , TLD etc

I told myself I'd only be in it for the Bonds - but man, if they released a Jaws or the Q they've been teasing, and maybe even an M (either the 60's version or Dench), I'd be all over it.

For me it works like this, the more they end up making the more I’ll buy.

It’s why they might need to adjust their strategy a bit. If the line goes under I have no need for a baron samedi when I don’t even have a Dalton or a Brosnan. But the more of the cores I have covered the more I’ll be inclined to buy secondary characters.

The good news for them is that there are so many variations of the core bonds that they can keep releasing them to keep up with the demand as the line matured and not get into the same issue QMX has now that Spock and Kirk have dried up.

I’d release dalton next, then brosnan... then dr no Connery as the goldfinger version will have dried up by then.

From there they absolutely need some current relevance and Hype momentum... they would be fools not to tie into Bond 20 and do a Daniel Craig like.

At that point they can sneak in a Q, a Blofeld or a Jaws... secondary characters that have popularity.

If all is going smooth then you get into ***** Galore, lazenby, honey ryder, variations on the core bonds...

They need to do away from the lines per movie and go after the next biggest cash opportunity in terms of demand...

Look I’m actually a fan of LALD which many feel to be mediocre. But I think the line is in trouble because of the quality control issues of the first line and then a line followed by way too unimportant characters like baron samedi

Agree wholeheartedly with this. Get the major stuff out of the way before the smaller ones. I too enjoy Moore's LALD appearence, especially with that turtleneck and nickel plated Model 29, but I bare no interest in Baron Samedi or Solitaire - why those two were made, or even LALD as a whole considering the favouritism of TSWLM or even FYEO or even the preferred logic of a modern Bond, when the line has barely even begun, baffles me. Goldfinger and Oddjob are much loved, so they were popular when served alongside the public favourite prime Connery.

Sure, the diehard collector will have interest in minor people but it's the masses who bring in the real interest; I don't see Average Joe rushing to purchase a figure of a crazy voodoo man - if this were a toy line, he'd be the figure that no kid wants that ends up by the dozen at the bargain bin or the stock sold to Home Bargains.

With cores perfected, branching off becomes good business: people will want a villain or a girl for their favourite Bond.

Shane Rimmer aka capt Carter is dead....this hits me harder as I actually met the man , so nice and down to earth :(

He was also in YOLT & DAF (radarman and the character Tom who worked for Willard Whyte)

Very eerie for me since I just watched him yesterday in Batman Begins and actually wondered if he were still alive.

Well this has gotten me heartbroken. Wanted to meet him myself, a favourite Bond character.

Like you, I keep getting these sales pitches and each time I hope I’m going to get an update, or dare I say, an invoice for postage!!

Well, the Live and Let Die set should be coming first since it was PO'd over a year ago and was originally scheduled for Nov 18 release, but then BCS switched factories and the estimate was push 3 months, which would have been around Feb-Mar. Now its April and still no 'coming soon' or anything.

I'm just eager to see the final product already.

I'm even more eager for Dr. No... but not looking forward to another tortuous year of waiting on that.
