Was hoping they'd do a 're release of these, fingers crossed. Prefer the regular release as I think helmet looks a little cooler

I'd say we'll see a Deathtrooper released with The Mandalorian figures. Probably slightly different weapons or kit to enable more merch to be sold.

I don't think they're aiming to have these troopers very prominently in that series. They will introduce new troopers though as they always do

Can you post a pic? I considered getting at least one to go with Krennic but that's a bummer if the holsters/gear is rotting. The deterioration of HT pleather is a real problem.

I will post some later, that thin pleather material + strong magnetic = rotting.

I wish these companies would stop using pleather and find a suitable replacement. Asmus already has a good head start with whatever their Dante coat is made of.

True not prominent, but enough for recognition by casual fans to get them interested. Plus HT would jump at something which uses some of existing tooling. No doubt they'll have different accessories etc to make them "new".

Anyway I've got my Deluxe and he's enough for me at the moment.

Other than a couple of main characters, Hot Toys have stayed away from television. I don't see many, if any, figures coming from the Disney Star Wars shows.

Plus I recall a certain person hinted at more than one figure from the Mandalorian in development by HT.

Sure it'll have to be a hit. But considering the talent, directors and budget @ $10M/episode it should be half ok.
