Too late, this franchise is forgotten by most people

It really was a flash in the pan wasn't it? People were just bonkers for it for about 6 months and now it may as well be as forgotten and inconsequential as Valerian, Edge of Tomorrow, Ready Player One.....just another flashy CGI Sci Fi movie that was fun but has zero staying power. I have never had the urge to rewatch it either.

Really a monumental waste of money if they actually do make sequels.

If it had a story to it, Avatar would’ve been more memorable

Its main strength was showcasing what could be done with 3D. Not too many others have come close.

From a technological standpoint it was amazing. Still the best 3D film ever made. However Jim is a moron for waiting this long to come out with a sequel.

How many times have people doubted him, then he comes out with the most expensive films of all time like t2, titanic, avatar, and they are box office smashes. He ain't a moron, he's just willing to take risks with massive amounts of money. The long wait is a bummer but wait til it arrives as he'll have more hits on his hands
