Greek Hoplites, will involve custom made helm, shield & chest-armour hopefully on HT muscle bodies

Starkiller Recipe:
SSC Anakin buck body
SSC Anakin Boots
SSC Anakin Right glove
Custom Scratch built helmet, armour, claws
Left glove recast right gauntlet with new hand added
Pants, top & leather breast plate, custom sewn by the wife




Barc trooper Recipe:
Body (SSC Pro 1.1 taller body)
Armour, Custom scratch built and cast
Boots Recast kotobuika Scout boots re-sculpted with added plates
Soft goods (camo from modern japanese soldier, vest grey material with elastic glued to it)
Gloves (sculpted)



Revan
Body SSC pro 1.1
shirt/pants hasbro Dooku (s) Hasbro palps pants
hands (stormtroopers)
All armour sculpted and cast
Boots SSC Pietts

Hah, I know the feeling! I can't believe how expensive they're getting these days. They're still the best, though.

hehe, one thing I've worked out is it's cheaper to wait for SSC to make the figure you want & buy that, not as much fun though

Yeah, I agree!

But it's better to customize a figure before SSC comes out with it, so you can feel good about doing it first, and by yourself as well. Buying things just isn't as fun as customizing 'em.

And SSC's Pro bodies still aren't as good as HT's.

Thought I'd post a pic of how the Barc is moving along, received the body,made the posing pouch and the other pouches, ath the moment there's no neck & I need to purchase a proper camo for it, I've made the gloves as well but not cast yet. the shoulders and arm armour are hasbro for the time being.

If anyone has any ideas on how to make the webbing to support all those pouches I'd love to hear it

Great work Shocktrooper. Starkiller is... ah... killer . Barc trooper is looking good, doubt sideshow will make him anytime soon if at all, so this is a great way to have him in your collection.

some more pics, just a quick mock up, still no neck, added the packs and some hands I sculpted a couple of years back when I first attempted this project. all very temporary at this stage.
