Hot Toys as their own forum subject?
I dont know if anyone else has suggested this, but I noticed there is ton of Hot Toy threads all over, and often constant threads are being made about the same figures over and over again ,asking about the same things without ppl doing searches, so there seems to be quite a bit of clutter just based on the HT pieces. I also noticed that there are a good amount of folks who collect nothing but HT or 1/6 figs in general, and never even go into the statue threads. So.......maybe it would be easier for ppl to find what their looking for if its all under one subject as Hot Toys or maybe just 1/6 Figs?

Re: Hot Toys as their own forum subject?
Since HT has properties that fit into the already existing categories here, there is no reason for them to have their own section.
Splitting them down makes it look like that suck *** rebelscum board.

Re: Hot Toys as their own forum subject?
I would say just add a HT sub forum under Marvel and maybe DC since those boards are getting overwhelmed with HT threads.

Re: Hot Toys as their own forum subject?
it doesn't matter who the manufacturer of a product is. the thread fits by topic. if people are creating multiple threads for the same product or posting a thread in the wrong category thats a whole different problem entirely and should be addressed by the mod of the section.
people who want to seperate the forum because they only collect SSC or they only collect Hot Toys and can't be bothered with the other posts need to get over themselves.

Re: Hot Toys as their own forum subject?
I don't know that creating a whole new HT section is the solution, but I have to agree that the HT thread situation is kinda getting outta hand. Go check out the DC section to see what I mean.

Re: Hot Toys as their own forum subject?
It has been raised before about separating out 1/6 and perhaps having each forum divided in 2 with 1/6 on one side and other stuff in its own forum.
However I like the idea of cross pollination - I know there are a lot of members that were exclusively 1/6 who have broadened their horizons and vice versa.
Also the fact that this board is separated by topic rather than by company or type of collectible is part of what makes it unique.
