It's the trend some other companies are starting to take with 1:6 head sculpts. The textured details and translucent appearance.

Very cool. Detail is impressive...Hopefully this'll setup a domino effect with the other companies.

Reminds me of Admiral Ozzle from Empire Strikes Back.

That really looks awesome... be great if the production figure looks that nice. Maybe DiD can start sneaking some more celebrity likenesses in with their figures.

That really is the question, the materials they use for their head sculpts and the paint apps seem to be stuck in a time warp. It should be a priority if they want to stay relevant in 1/6th.

Are both the pics of the same head? there's something of Montgomery's jaw line in the second pic.
