I wouldn't be surprised if the studio wanted to delay the movie for the 3D remix. I think this is the new fad for movies now....the good thing is that its a lot better than the 3D from when I was a kid.

I've read the Cabin script and I found it to be relatively straightforward, without an overwhelming amount of the twists and turns that the marketing seems to suggest. As the trailer shows, five people go to a cabin and bad things happen--but we see early on (and in the trailer) that events are being manipulated by a staff of people in a control room. So it's kind of like a horror version of the Truman Show. As we see in the trailer, they ultimately realize what's happening and head down the elevator for a confrontation. The story cuts back and forth between the cabin group and the control room staff throughout the film, so it's not a big twist/reveal at the end. Much like Truman Show, you know what's going on the whole time. I did find it interesting that there is still a definite supernatural element to the story, which you might not expect given the premise.

a lot more people would go see it, but then it would ruin the kind of surprise element so I can see why they hid but they did hide it well. I did not see THAT coming. I do agree there aren't really any "plot"-twists per se, but I def. did not see the
