Greetings everyone! I thought it would be a good idea to have an official thread for one of the best Predator collectibles available, the Sideshow Predator Maquette. Please share your pictures and other related media you may have. Also, I will keep a running roll call for all of the maquette owners. Someone mentioned in another thread that the maquette was missing the leather arm bands around the gauntlets, so I took the liberty of making some and adding them. You can see the results in my first pics at the top of the thread. I am also considering some other small improvements.

Nice photo's there from everyone. I wish I had bought the exclusive. I only bought the standard. No.113 of 750. I need to do a minor repair to mine as well. I somehow lost a claw on left thumb when I moved house a couple of years ago.

Hi

Just after the thoughts from any of the members who are lucky enough to own the exclusive. I used to own the regular but sold it as I always felt the head was a little too small. I now have a chance to purchase the exclusive for around £1300 but just want to know if you think this price is worth it and also if you think the masked portrait is in proportion to the statue.

Hmm...a little over 2K US is a bit steep, but I know that you generally have to pay a premium overseas. I would say that if you can get it for a little less shipped, go for it. As for the head size, I think both are in great proportion...remember, this is built off of a scan of the actual Predator on display at SWS. It doesn't get any better than this accuracy wise.

Edit: That said, the masked head doesn't stick out as far length wise...the mandibles stick out a lot on the unmasked. Other than that, the heads are pretty much the same size.
