Cool Dollhouse/Firefly art.

Here's a really cool plate that I just bought.

I bought it a couple of days ago, but they refounded 5 USD to me just now because they're going to have a 24h discount starting at noon PDT.

They're also selling a Firefly piece.

I just talked with this guy a few days ago and almost started this SAME thread!!!

I saw them as well. I bought the Dollhouse one. He said that they were originally made for SDCC, but the distributing deal with SDCC fell through. The Dollhouse piece is limited to 250 pieces total.

The seller was very informative AND prompt with his emails. VERY nice to talk with!

I asked him about a possible Buffy or Angel commission and he hopes to get one in the works, but nothing has set been yet.

Definitely do. The seller was VERY prompt with all of his emails, unlike most on Ebay. Any info. you wanted to know, he would tell you.

Ok well, I bought the dollhouse one. Didn't go for the Firefly/Serenity one though.

Too bad they weren't sold on SDCC.

Now they're not "exclusive to SDCC" they're "almost exclusive to SDCC" which gives it a less "collectible" feeling.

I know, I'm picky.

Did they change their minds about wanting them? I don't see why they wouldn't sell them, they would have sold well, wouldn't they? I thought most exclusives did.

All he told me was that his connection fell through. He did say however that he gifted a few of these to Joss Whedon, Eliza Dushku, and Ashley Johnson.

He also told me that he's working on getting a license for Dr. Horrible.

Even though these weren't "true" SDCC Exclusives, I still loved the look of them. I have an all glass desk in my home office and plan on mounting it underneath the desk to give it that customized look. I'm psyched!

I hope he/they keeps making them. They're shiny! In two ways!

I wonder what they would look like with vamped out Spike. The reflecting effect could do wonders for the yellow vampire eyes.

I just really hope we get a Buffy/Angel one. I wont miss that either! Larger would be great too.

Hi everyone!

I'm glad everyone likes our art! As to the exclusivity of the Dollhouse pieces, we did sell a couple at Comic-con even though our contact fell through. There were only 250 made and we will never use any parts of the image in our art again. As Caroline mentioned, we are doing a sale on the Dollhouse piece to celebrate the beginning of season 2. The sale lasts until Sept. 26, noon. I was planning to put up a poll to see what kind of Buffy piece people would like as there are almost too many things we could make.
