Anime Figure/Statue Discussion Thread

I thought it was time to create a topic where we can discuss Anime figures and statues, including the ones based off of the works of Shunya Yamashita, who I'm a huge fan of.

In here we can discuss future releases as well as post pics of the figures and statues we have and that we acquire in the future. I know there's at least a few Anime figure fans and fans of Shunya Yamashita's figures on here, so hopefully we can keep this thread on the first page or at least near it.

So I guess I'll start things off with a few recent additions to my collection and feel free to contribute your own. Let the discussion begin......

I'm a big fan of Masamune Shirow, the creator of Ghost in the Shell and Appleseed. I also have manga/artbook collection and a collection of anime figures/statues.

Thanks I love Shirow's work but I also have some other anime items: Cowboy Bebop, Evangelion, Queen's Blade etc.

Where's all the mecha at?? Haha nice u started this thread havok, I'm gonna round up my collection and snap pics for all the mecha fans!

Jkno, you've got a great collection going on!

I had a lot of Anime items at one time but they were broken, sold, given away or lost in transit...*sigh*

Besides a few Anime DVDs the only statue I have, right now, is my Cammy PVC statue...

I love all of those anime figures, but that is going into dangerous territory for me if I get into them. I can't afford everything I'm already into (PFs, Comiquettes, 1:6, 6", Art Prints/Books, Video Games, T-Shirts) and still get these.

I am getting the Marvel Bishoujo figures, mainly because they are designed by Yamash.ita and they are the Ladies of Marvel!

I gotta pick up that Motoko Kusanagi fig!

I got in my next Shunya Yamashi.ta Figure today, Canal or Kanaru. The paint job could have been a little better on this one, the factory painters went a little too crazy with the shading and she's a tad darker than the proto pics showed. Overall though I love it, I think it's an amazing figure. I don't think I'd be able to pass up any Yamashi.ta Figure.

Darth Snoopy, you can't go wrong with that Motoko statue - well worth getting, fantastic little piece. Only problem is you're gonna want more 8" PVC's to go with her.

I have tons of PVC fig like Monsieur-BOME but all of them are packaged. Xenosaga
