Man this show is fun. Fillion is one of my favorite actors. Glad to see him back on the air. I was enjoying Drive...until they ended it.

This show has potential. Pretty funny too.

Wasn't that into it for the first 15-20 minutes, but it really kicked in after that. Why Nathan Fillion isn't already a huge star is beyond me. Definitely tuning in next week.

Yea, he's carrying the show to start, but I think several of the supporting cast has potential. I'll give it three or four weeks to see if it gets its legs.

Who was the woman in the poker game? I recognized Patterson and Cannell, but not her. I assumed she was somebody, since they went through the trouble to get big name authors for the other two seats.

It was because of Fillion that I enjoyed Firefly/Serenity. I find him not being a bigger star to be very perplexing. He's got presence and likeability, a quirky attractiveness that leaves all the dime-a-dozen smouldering-eyed pouty-lipped pretty boys in the dust (and can act a bit as well). Tuned in only becuz I was too lazy to flip channels from its lead-in show, and just enjoyed the heck out of it. Hope it survives and flourishes; it's got potential. (but then if I like a show, it will likely get cancelled )

I think she was just supposed to be the dealer. I like this idea of the poker game, but I hope they can get someone like Grisham.

I like the show, Fillion is his standard charming rogue character, although a bit smarter than he usually plays. The chemistry with Katic is good too. It feels a lot like Bones, which I only got into for about 5 episodes, or The Mentalist.

I'm glad this series is all self contained. I was afraid every week some freak would use his books to kill. That'd get old fast.

Show seems like its going to be fun. I'm glad they market it that way too.

Loved the first ep. it was a lot of fun. I just hope its not like a new case each week like CSI or something. I want some carry over from week to week.

I was kinda surprised they ended the copycat killer arc so tidely in the first episode. If ever there was a specific nemesis to keep as the long term story arc, a copycat killer would have been it (a la the ice truck killer in Dexter).

It's obviously going to be a procedural without any major plot arcs - perhaps a running character thing like Red Jack in the Mentalist. But that's why I compared it to Bones - just a new case each week. That's what the TV execs prefer.
