LOL, I think I bought the TT from you, Collector49.... So the TT ankle barbell will slip into the Indy shoe when heated? This sounds like it should work. Anyone try it???

Yup. For both Indy and Snake Eyes. Just heat the shoes and pop them in. Works like a charm.

Did it the other night, works great!... I also found that Pro wrist pegs can also be cut down and used to replace TT pegs, I'm sure to many this is old news but I was damn happy as I have a surplus of pro pegs!.... my signature below kinda tells the tale of my first experience with the wrists when switching to a TT.... Amazing how much TT wrist pegs go for on the bay too. 10-15 bucks a pair!

Anyway, Indy looks quite nice on a TT. Has anyone tried sanding down the shoulders a bit? The TT looks a little wide with the SS shirt but looks only slightly bulky with the jacket over it. It would seem like a perfect fit if a little bit was shaved off the TT width. Sorry if this has been hit on before in this thread, not trying to be repetitive.

Also, have the narrow shouldered TTs hit the market in Hong Kong yet? I'm wondering if that body would give us a nice middle ground between the slouchy pro shoulder and the slightly too wide TT shoulder?

Yeah, I sanded the shoulders down for my Indy. It looked better but still too wide when the jacket is off. I'm waiting for the TT Slim. I think that might be the way to go.

While trying to upgrade the standard Indy, I came across a little trick to replace the SST boots to Newline boots. Original gi joe feet fit very well on the Pro body. They do stretch out the boots a little, so I may grind down the toes a little. They also make Indy a little shorter.

Well, here he finally is ... after about 3 months of research and work by many talented people (yes, that means not me):

Photobucket

Paint, hat and body re-sculpting by Sean Ho, 1/6th scale Raiders accurate whip by Joe Strain, Belt and Holster by Mike Fisher, and clothes by Ms. Yeung.

Photobucket

Joe Strain made the whip based upon pausing the DVD to get a look at the actual color patterns on the Raiders whip:

A comparison of what 2 cm does when added to the body length:

Thanks to all of the above mentioned artists, they made this piece what it is, also, thanks to all of you, I read your posts and, basically, learned how to do most of this from you guys.
