BIG Mets fan here. I am hoping Santana can get us over the hump....finally.

Cardinals fan here.

Followed by the Cubs (blasphemy I know, especially after being a diehard Cubbie as a child)

Mets are going to be a force.
Dalgado has to have an MRI though.

Brewers only got better in the offseason.

Cubs didn't do much.
Cards reshuffled and time will tell how it ends up.

Is that even possible? Shouldn't your brain be exploding or something?

I think the Cards are getting written off this year, which is dangerous, they're going to be a force, as they always are.

As a Brewer fan, I was disappointed the Brewers couldn't get the Scott Rolen deal done. I couldn't believe when I heard they traded him straight up for Troy Glaus. It's like the Blue-Jays' GM lost a bet or owed you guys a favor or something. :monkey1

The cubs? meh.

Any interest in a Freaks fantasy league?

Hell yeah, I'd do it.

Baseball is my passion (as many of you know), and this is my favorite time of year. Spring training means baseball's on the way, Winter is almost over, March Madness is around the corner.

GO SOX!!!!!

Yeah, that is what most people say in regards to the Cards/Cubs idea.
Grew up with Sandberg and the Cubs a little less than an hour away in Indiana. Haven't been back to Wrigley since early '90's.
Then girls came along with the strike and I quit paying attention to baseball.
Then one of my favorites was traded in 97 from the AL to the NL.
Mark McGwire.
And then he broke the HR record in 98.
Been a Cards fan ever since.
Go over to Busch at least once a year.

Well they did send the Jays some money as well.
It sucks cause Rolen is an Indiana boy.
But they needed a change and he was not happy.
But they needed to get some pitching.

I saw where some site predicted the Cards 5th in the NL Central.
I cannot see them falling that low, but it is the Central.
If there offense stays healthy, they have 4/5 solid power bats in the lineup.
But they are young.

Red Sox are cool but I'm happy to say its the Cubbies year!:chew Although I've been saying that for quite a while now.:monkey2

As with the rest of the Cubbie fans......
It should have been their year a few years ago, but they blame it on a fan.

I am glad that they finally let Prior go.
They were worried that Prior and Wood would turn into another Maddux.
But I felt that they held onto them too long.
A lot of money wasted on good pitchers who were on the DL longer than they actually played.

I would be interested in some sideshow fantasy action count me in!!!

I'm excited but a little mixed about the M's. We have a very good pitching staff now but just can't see where we are going to score any runs. I doubt anyone will hit more than 25 HR's this season for them... heck they may not even get 20 from anyone.

Mariners put a lot of effort into Bedard.
Sexson and Beltre have a little pop.
Beltre may have been a one hit wonder with the Dodgers, but let's hope he has just had a few off years with the M's so far.
