I know that a lot of us here collect SideShow, Hot Toys, Medicom, etc...

I was curious, besides collecting 1:1 busts, statues, 1/4 premium formats, 1/6 scale figures, and other toys...

What do you collect?

I for one am a collector of hockey memorabilia...

I am building up quite the game worn jersey collection. Sometimes can be more expensive than some of the high end statues we collect. They range from anywhere between 400 to 47,000 US in price.. depending on the player of course. The 47,000 one being a Sidney Crosby NHL All-Star game worn that sold in a meigray auction... I am guessing some major corporate company purchased his jersey. And since it was for charity I am assuming they got a nice tax return for it. Either way, those kind of prices are a rarity. Or so one would hope so. Hey, I just got into the game.

Anyway, I also collect anything with the logo Guinness on it, since my drink of choice is, well... Guinness.

And I guess to a certain extent and I am like the rest of the world that collects DVDs, music, and video games up until just a few years ago. I got out of the gaming and even DVD bug... been too busy in the gym and having a social life to spend it front of a television... since I spend enough time in front of a monitor as is.. my Mac.

DVDs.. if I had more money i defintely buy more movie memorabilia and props....

I love collecting photographs now.. mostly of my friends or experiences in life. Like sporting events, trips, or just hanging with the friends at a pub or at the theatre... heck, I weirded some of my gym buddies out by asking if I could take some snaps in the gym...hey I love that place. I built up many great friendships from there. It's good to have pictures for memories, because what if I move and change gyms and don't keep in touch with some of those individuals.. it's nice to have some kind of archive to look back on.

Nothing really lol, i guess if i did it would be movies i stopped buying movies because my collection is so damn big

I also like taking and keeping pictures of random things I do with friends for the memories, Eli.
In addition, I collect DVDs as well and Hasbro Star Wars figures like a lot of the other Freaks probably do since I know most of them are on Rebelscum. But nowadays I don't buy as much of either. It seems like Sideshow is it for me now as I just preordered the Anakin PF, which will be my second Premium format figure after the Spike Exclusive I just bought a few weeks ago.

Aside from 1/6 figures I really want to shift over to framed hockey jerseys as well! I want to get the following eventually:

Gretzky
Messier
Fuhr
Roy
Kurri
Lemieux
Orr

I could ony imagine how many thousands these 7 would cost!

Books, I collect books. I have about 600.

Basketball cards - Shaq's my #1 priority (Cards, jerseys, poster ect ect.). Also collect vintage card set's from the '80's and before, and Lakers cards. And a few players that i really like.

DVD's - I buy ALOT of DVD's and watch movies everyday. Also studie them so i can learn abit and get inspired for my own movie projects. Would like to collect movie memoraillia but it's too damn expensive.

Marvel Comics - Am thinking about starting comics, the vitage one's. Not the brand new one's, there's no fun in that

Other than Star Wars I pretty much only collect Tampa Bay Buccaneer and pirate (since it relates to Tampa) stuff.

I collect girlfriends.

That must be a very time consuming collection to maintain.

I don't really collect anything else and to be quite honest, I am trying to cutback drastically on this stuff.


I need to spend more time doing more productive things than collecting. This is how I feel sometimes.

I collect movie posters and am pretty much moving away from statue collecting altogether. I will buy the occasional thing here and there, but not a bunch of stuff like I used to.
