He's very eye catching, and very nostalgic. Reminds me of the original Mego 8" I used to have.

I've pretty much gone off new Marvel figures, and most of the ones I have are less 'comic book' looking, such as Logan and X-23, Punisher, Defenders and Kingpin, Guardians of the Galaxy, Wolverine, Blade, the original pulpy MCU Iron Man.

At a stretch there's the Avengers Hulk and a couple of Ghost Riders who the Green Goblin might look at home with.

There was always something about this iteration of the Green Goblin that fascinated me as a child, so this figure is calling to me.

Up at TNS and Giantoy. Big price difference though - $215 vs. $187 respectively.

Very cool. First Gambit and now Green Goblin. I wonder if SooSoo is truly going full in on a 1/6 comic line. I?ll probably be picking this one up. The portrait is great. My only concerns are that the neck looks kind of thick and I?m not fully sold on the material used for the costume, but it probably translates. Hot Toys may actually be getting a sale out of this. I hadn?t planned on buying video game Spider-Man, but may do so now. Possibly Iron Spidey and Miles as well.

Wow - pretty good shot at ol' GG, wish they would've modernized the tunic a bit more but I can't balk at the comic-accuracy of this right down to the glider! Translates pretty well into 1/6. I doubt Sideshow could've done better. The third parties have run out of TV and Movies and have set their eyes full-on to the comic page world!

I didn’t think OSC’s price would be beat. $187 at Giantoy is great.

SooSoo has a lot of matzo balls hanging in the breeze right now. This, Superboy, Green Arrow, Robin, Nightwing. None of which have started shipping yet and I think a few of those are approaching their due date. Some may even be behind estimated ship times.

This is great!!!! Although I'm sticking with Sideshow's XMen to maintain continuity (and I do like the simpler design of their Gambit), this looks great!!!
The films are always enjoyable for what they are, but I've always much preferred "comic-inspired" figures on the shelf, as I feel like all of these characters are so much bigger than the actors who play them - with the exception of Blade (I really think the first 2 films made him much cooler than the comics ever did).
Fantastic that someone else is running comic-based figures. Could mean a complete revamp of the shelves!

Really exiting to see more and more comic based figures coming out now. Hopefully this lights a fire under Sideshow and Hot Toys to start putting more out.

Nothing HT is realeasing (anytime soon) is this exciting. Love everything about this! Way better than the green Power Ranger look, just perfect!

That does look nice, but the glider is just a static piece and nowhere near as impressive as the one that comes with the Toys Era The Fiend. Happy for those excited for this, but I simply can't justify (or physically accommodate) expanding into comic/cartoon accurate figures.

I’m really loving all these third party releases too. For me this and the Raime set is apples and oranges and I have to have both.
