My hopes of getting all the house party protocol armors are probably dead. Wonder how many repaints/versions of the diecast mark 7 we're getting. Hopefully they fixed all the engineering issues due to the pod mode at least.

So the fact that they keep doing this... must mean people are buying these, right?

And people thought the leaked image was fake :lol

Who asked for this? I suppose its the closest SW collectors will get to C3PO

20th Anniversary figure and it's a repaint...sums up HT quite well.

For Hot Toys 20th anniversary we are excited to announce......business as usual!

That was certainly worthwhile. Well done Hot Toys.

Oh there'll probably be a few more things that they would have made anyway and they'll just slap a logo on the packaging.

You mean this "leak"?

It's not real, it seems to me someone photoshopped pictures of Mark 7. The real midas doesn't have BD parts or an in helmet tony face.

So this is the third version of this armour. The third. And yet,no Hammerhead, night club....

Don't get your hopes up too high on that. The knees look long and skinny just like on the Mark VII, so they're likely just deleting all of the extra pod conversion components and then giving it a new paint job. And increasing the price, because everyone knows that a little gold chrome paint costs more than all of those deleted parts. :wink1: The Mark VII was $433, right? This will probably be somewhere in the $450-$475 range. They'll probably do a Midas 4.0 in 100% gold chrome down the road when they decide to break through the $500 barrier. :lol

Well maybe the plus side here is that they'll do a Mk1 Diecast as part of this 20th anniversary line....

Nah, you just jinxed it. Also that's something that a lot of folks really want, so they'll make us wait until their 25th anniversary. But it will still release before GoTG2 Gamora.
