Finally unpacked this piece. Not prop accurate but screen accurate imo. Regardless I love the piece.
I just noticed a thin plastic coating on the front mouth section. Not noticeable from a distance. Is there a reason why it?s on here?

I don't have my MR CE helmet anymore (identical to your EFX PCR), but I believe that is the ABS mold lines
