ABOUT THE CHARACTER
Tony Stark’s Iron Man suits of armour have become icons in their own right. With each iteration, he packs in a new feature and a new update with cool new designs.
In total, Tony has designed 85 Iron Man suits. Among them, the Mark 50 is one of the most important as it possesses some of the most advanced technology and weaponry that Stark has ever created.

ABOUT THE STATUE
The Queen Studios Iron Man Mark50 1:1 Statue includes all the features that an Iron Man fan could dream of.
The MK50 base includes a sleek design with intricate detailing and internal lighting. While his metallic red, gold and silver coloured armour is expertly painted and sculpted with striking likenesses, including light-up functions scattered throughout the suit and in Tony’s new arc reactor.
The final piece sees Iron Man with his arms and fists clenched, his head turned with a heroic gaze, and the nano-booster wings open behind. There is no question that he is ready to do battle!

Holy ****. This thing is awesome. But the head pose bothers me for some reason. I would almost rather the head look straight.

Shipping will be NUTS!! Cost of the statue will be RIDICULOUS! Deep pockets only ...without a doubt.

But I have to be honest ...they could've done better with the sculpt of his legs. Could've sculpted the legs a bit more muscular. I know RDJ is not that muscular in the legs area, but ...c'mon ...just to make it look a bit more "marvel hero", they should've sculpted his legs a bit more muscular.

Why would they sculpt the armor that looks identical to that in the movie to be more muscular? And since when did his suit match the muscular contour of RDJ himself?

You know this version armor is nano-tech, right. In which case, it conforms to Tony's shape for the most part. And they should've sculpted the legs a bit more muscular because his upper half is muscular.

I wish I could afford this. Amazing statue Mark 50 is one of the best movie armors.

Hmm, it's almost like it's impossible for his height to increase when he's IN the suit.

Avengers-Age-of-Ultron-Size-Chart.jpeg

Also, I don't think an actor's actual height need represent their character's on screen height.

My only argument against that is that nanomachines can make anything bigger? :wink1:

In side by side shots without the helmet, he's pretty much the same height as Doctor Strange in IW.

Howeverrr, with the previous suits in previous films he was at least the same height as Thor.

I guess it just wouldn't be that imposing if the statue was any smaller.

Also, I think just because it forms around his body, doesn't mean it's perhaps skintight or form fitting. I'd think there should be some space between his body and the suit. Also again, the actor's height might not be representative of the character's height in the movie. They could say he's 6'0 for all intents and purposes even though we know the actor isn't that height.

It’s essentially like how they used to handle Tom Cruise’s height in movies by using camera angles and other techniques to disguise his shorter stature.
